The place seems clean and the staff is mostly friendly. The delivery car is always sitting in the front. The fountain sodas arent the best and I would like to see some bottled tea and or lemonade at least for a little variety. They do have lots of chips to pick from, and it's an expensive lunch for an overpriced tag. I rather eat at Subway.
Since my review, I've had the opportunity to work at this location. The cleanliness is an issue as nothing is cleaned properly and the pictures I have will prove this! The meats and veggies are pushed beyond the expiration date and often smell. The Manager is a passive aggresive guy who treats his staff disrespectfully and often, belittles them. I would be yelled at for cleaning his nasty store. In the end he sabotaged my employment and ended up firing me for being late even though he always left the store even though I wasn't the opener. They treated me like I'm special, but they're obviously not good at reading people. Not a good store to dine in or work for in my opinion. I'm now looking to sue for compensation as they really stressed me out beyond my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't like giving bad reviews, really. So, I guess I'm being generous with a 2nd star for the pleasant service from the girls behind the counter.
I love sandwiches...I'll take a grinder over a burger. Since my work is paying for my dinners this week, and this Milio's is across the road from my hotel, I got two subs -- "The Godfather" Italian sub, and their "Milio's Classic," a turkey/ham/mayo/pickle/lettuce/tomato sub.
The Godfather tasted like vinegar and lettuce. I could see the meat on it...I just couldn't taste it. Italian dressing is apparently vinegar at Milio's. So disappointing.
Milio's Classic...I can't really explain this one...but it tasted like fish. Fish, yes. Smoked salmon to be exact. Now...I like smoked salmon, but not when I'm expecting turkey and ham...and there's no fish on the menu anywhere. I think it was something about the way the pickles, mayo and smoked meat played together. When I had bites without pickles, it didn't taste like salmon. Frickin' bizarre. And not in a good way.
So yeah. Big...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey didnāt used to scoop their bread, and now they do. Like, the bread is thinner than a lettuce wrap. It destroys the proportions (itās just sloppy lettuce and meat), and but the internet tells me Iām supposed to ask them not to wreck the bread. Ohh, 2025. But why not just make bulging, well-proportioned sandwiches like before? With all their bread? They even look empty and sad this way - just like that other chainās sandwiches, in fact.
Update: If itās a new policy to shrink the sandwiches, then you should update the pictures on your website. They show bulging intact sandwiches, the...
