Wingstop — Restaurant in Madison

I ordered food for delivery through their website. I received confirmation of the order via email and delivery time. A few minutes before the order was supposed to have been delivered, I received an email stating that the order had been canceled. Very confused, I went to the store location myself and showed the associates a copy of the email that I received saying that the order had been canceled and confirmation of the order received. The front counter associate showed me the DoorDash driver ‘s name who picked up the order because they keep track of this in the store. She also confirmed that they cannot cancel orders within the store itself. The store manager, ANISHA immediately fixed the problem by placing a duplicate order and getting us our food while I waited. What I appreciated was the effort and time that the employees took to fix the situation that they should not have had to fix to begin with. The dishonesty of the DoorDash driver, PAIGE stealing the food, not delivering it, and canceling the order is so disheartening. We also reported this to DoorDash, since essentially, they are the third-party between the restaurant and the delivery service.

Honestly, these wings/chicken fingers are the best I've ever had, and it's not even close. One time, I went three days in a six day stretch. The first time, I was so hungry, so I ordered a 10 boneless wing combo and managed to finish it in one sitting. But, every time after that, I disciplined myself to eat only a little bit at a time (be it a 6 boneless wing combo, 8 boneless wing combo, or 3 piece chicken fingers) and save the rest for later. Their ranch is heavenly good, and so is their Cajun corn. (I got their Cajun corn every time after the first visit, and I usually get fries every time I go to a "fast food" joint, but their Cajun corn is special!) Unfortunately, this Wing Stop is just another mediocre wing restaurant. The wings were soggy and undercooked and the blue cheese dressing was ranch based. It tasted like ranch dressing with some blue cheese flavor, but they couldn’t event be bothered to put real blue cheese chunks in it. The fries were pretty decent, but very salty. The flavor was good enough without drowning it in salt.

I wouldn’t recommend eating here unless you need wings and you need it to be 3 minutes from your house in Madison. Even my son, who loves nearly every kind of wings said that it really...
