Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Madison

I visited on Veterans Day to get free Signature Chicken Sandwich. Veteran’s were required to download app and then have coupon scanned. This is a bit much especially for older Veterans who really don’t get into apps etc. I had trouble pulling up coupon and the young lady who assisted also couldn’t find it to download. It didn’t appear in my app. The general manager (Lynn) stated that this had been an issue all day and she had to comp the sandwich.

The service was impeccable as Fara and Kennedy were awesome. They greeted everyone with a smile and were extremely friendly and helpful. This is what you call excellent customer service!!!!

The atmosphere is great! It’s very cozy; nice and clean. It seems it must be u see new management because the last I visited, which has been awhile, the dining area wasn’t very neat and clean. It seems Lynn is also doing a wonderful job and should be commended.

Update: Gave them another try. :( unfortunately nothing much changed. I got the 8 deal , chosen because it came with coleslaw. After we got home - I opened my box and first NO coleslaw and second the wing sauce was everywhere -even my fries and toast were smothered with sauce and soggy. I ate the wings and threw the rest away. 😡 Not sure after this time that we will be back. :(

My first visit here was amazing the food was hot and delicious. My second visit was not as great. It was approx 1.5 hrs before closing. The quality of food was sub par. The Texas toast was tiny and literally dripping with butter. Coleslaw is usually a favorite but took one bite and it was so rancid I had to spit it out. So disappointing. I don't like to complain, especially about employees, but the older lady who was working the pickup side was very mean. I have a stutter and speak a bit slowly and awkwardly to avoid it. I was trying to explain that I was picking up multiple orders and was snapped at to "just give the names." And then she intentionally sat the drink carrier too far back on the counter for me to reach with all the orders in bags on my arms and then walked off. Like I didn't feel like I was picking up orders for my office, I felt like I was in middle school getting bullied! Thank goodness the lady who was taking walk in orders stepped over to help me. All in all, I don't think I will be returning here. I get being frustrated with work and customers, but that was just being mean for...
