Let me start out by saying I worked at a KFC in high school so I am well aware of what the company standards are. That being said, I honestly don’t buy food from KFC often. I became too friendly with it when I was younger. While my toddler and I were out running errands, I decided to stop through the drive through to pick up lunch for our little family. As I paid and began to drive off, I realized I received the complete and utter wrong food. This happens in fast food, I was not upset at this point. I went back through the drive through and told the employee working the window, who’s name was Ben (according to my receipt). When I pulled up to the window, I didn’t receive an apology, but three men just staring at me who looked and acted like they were high. Ben said, “What did you even have anyway?” Are you serious? I literally just came through the drive thru. I offered to give him my receipt and he denies. Ben hands me a bag and says, “Yeah, I think this is all your food.” You think? Livid, I drive away. When I get home, I open the food. I’m missing a drink and a potato wedge! One of the potato wedges I got was extremely old, hard, and crisp. You couldn’t bite into it at all. As I opened up my toddlers Mac and cheese, there lies a long BLACK hair right under the lid!!! I KNOW they had to have noticed that before they put the lid on. It was just sitting there, on top! Furious, I tried to call Madisonville KFC #GO20028. No one answered. I took the online feedback survey. They survey assured me someone would contact me from KFC and no one has. Read moreIt’s been a well known fact for most Madisonville residents that THIS particular KFC is just awful. For YEARS, maybe 10 or more. Today, I went, hoping for the best. It’s right at dinner time on a Saturday and you would think they would have chicken ready. Nope. They never do when I go. 19 minute wait on original dark meat. Which is what I needed of course. So I wait. 20 minutes goes by then another 15. I call them, having waited for 35 minutes now. People behind me leaving with their food. Mind you, no one was really there when I ordered. They say to me on the phone, “I don’t know what to tell you….sorry I guess”. Like really?! I didn’t mind to wait. But 15 MORE minutes and by the time I got the food, more like 40 minutes all together. And of course when they bring me the food they forget the sauces I told them at check out more than once I wanted and had to go back in and barely brought me any. I get home and I swear to you, the Mac n cheese looked like it had been sitting out for 3 days, and the mashed potato’s have some kind of crusted something in them. Oh and it was almost 45.00. Never offered anything free, or to make up for the wait. And it’s one thing if it’s a one time thing. No, this happens EVERY TIME I GO. But I went there the other day and got two #8s and they gave me all but the two pieces of chicken. I tried calling the establishment several times to no one answering. I didn't know that all of my meal wasn't there till I had gotten home. Thing is, I walked into the establishment, I wasn't at the drive through. And there weren't many people that were in there and not as many through the drive through. It bothers me cause I called and called and called some more to no one answering the phone. I live several minutes from there so o went there on my way home cause it's along the way. Now they cheated me out of that meal knowingly how many pieces goes into that box and was priced a dollar more. I wrote corporate about it, I have the receipt still and took a pic. They just need to start doing better. There were people that were sitting inside and some didn't get all they ordered and had to go back up to the counter to address the issue.
