Emma's Cafe — Restaurant in Madras

I was very disappointed with our lunch. Ordered an asada wet burrito and two kids' pancake meals. The asada was undersalted and lacked the tasty char from the grill. Inside the burrito was only rice and beans- neither adding anything to the flavor or texture of the burrito as a whole. The house potatoes were more mushy than crispy and also undersalted. Overall, I found the food bland, poorly cooked, and overpriced. Kids' pancakes were the only item with good flavor and texture. Would avoid this restaurant...

Very cool comfortable vibe Was also a super quiet place around mid-day which I also love. We were there around Friday around 3pm.

Driving to Madras on way to Montana stayed for dinner. Reviews suggested Emma’s Cafe. Fantastic. Great food of chicken street tacos fresh corn tortillas, perfectly cooked chicken also had the special arrancha carne asada which was delicious. Super lean and well cooked to med rare and was moist.
