Lucy's Tacos Shop (Madras) — Restaurant in Madras

My wife and I tried Lucy’s tonight for the first time. She was really excited to go there after working a 12 hour day. When we walked in, it felt like it was 110° in there either their air-conditioning is broke or turned off and they had the doors open! I ordered three Ground beef tacos with beans and rice as a side. My wife ordered the ground beef nachos. This is just my opinion the food was horrible!! It tasted like they boiled the hamburger. It was tasteless and what taste it did have was gross.!! My wife and I could barely even eat a quarter of it. The whole time we’re trying to eat there’s 20 flies flying around landing on our food. It was absolutely disgusting. I have seen good reviews about this place and I’m just one person, but it was absolutely horrible!! My wife was so disappointed we paid $41 and couldn’t even eat the food. And again it felt like it was 110° with flies everywhere. Also we had to clean our own table. Every table had food all over it. We will never go back. It’s sad. I felt really bad for my wife. I will have to say that this location in Madras Oregon is as good as the location in Bend Oregon I would assume it is the same owner? Overall my experience at this restaurant was very good. The restaurant was clean the employees were groomed and didn't look dirty as some places around employee some are pretty dirty looking. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. One thing I would like to recommend to the restaurant when I walk through the door you stalk all your beverages in the dining area. Been there twice since the opening almost a year ago. This taco shop's prices were on par with real Mexican restaurants like La Posada, but the complex taste of delicious Mexican food was sadly lacking. Food was just good but not very good, and a bit overpriced. For the money I was expecting better than La Posada.
