Toast
Two Eggs
We'll make them anyway but poached! Served with your choice of: biscuit or toast (pick one), fried red potatoes or stone ground grits (aka not instant) or sliced tomatoes or applesauce. Gravy options available: milk sausage gravy (a crowd pleaser); red eye gravy (an acquired taste, with a concoction of country ham drippings, salt, pepper, and coffee, its very watery!); no gravy (no whining allowed!).
Three Homemade Veggies And Half Of A Chicken
We have the freshest southern fried chicken on the east side of the qualla boundary. This bird is hand-breaded, then broasted to seal in all the flavors to ensure its crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. You'll get half a bird all four pieces a breast, thigh, drumstick, wing! No substitutions. (Please allow a minimum 15 minutes for cooking especially in our busiest times we promise it's worth the wait). Served with a choice of two veggies (yes, mac & cheese is considered a veggie in the south), choice of yeast roll or southern-style corn bread (aka not jiffy sweet). You may baked potato for 2.99 for one veggie.
Bbq Plate
Pulled tender pork served with two sides. Served with a choice of two veggies (yes, mac & cheese is considered a veggie in the south), choice of yeast roll or southern-style corn bread (aka not jiffy sweet). You may baked potato for 2.99 for one veggie. (Weekends only)
Homemade Meatloaf
This little loaf of heaven is made with love! We do use green bell peppers and onions in the mix as well as ketchup. It is baked and more of the tomato love is poured on top. Served with a choice of two veggies (yes, mac & cheese is considered a veggie in the south), choice of yeast roll or southern-style corn bread (aka not jiffy sweet). You may baked potato for 2.99 for one veggie. (Weekends only)

As you come in you notice right away there is no focus on customer service. Took them a while to acknowledge us even after they have walked past us a couple of times. Once sitted, we commented that the place is old but well kept and clean??, did I say clean, that's only until you enter the bathroom that was filthy 😡. The only good thing about our breakfast was the biscuit. Eggs had no flavor, gritts had no flavor and fried potatoes were raw 🤑. Then to top it off, I go to the cashier to pay and when I got there I was the only one waiting to be helped, by the time I got any service there were 3 other people standing in line. Again, people see you but don't help. Finally, a lady who was busy showing photos on her phone to some customers decided to take care of the customers standing at the register. Then she told me. Well, this receipt doesn't have a total ?$#@ What the heck, why is that my issue? She got a nasty attitude and disappeared and went into the kitchen. She had a calculator right there, but I guess she HAD to make an issue of it. Horrible experience. Do yourself a favor and do NOT stop here.

First time stopping here and it was really good. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. We all shared a few items at the table and there was PLENTY on each plate. The chicken tender meal was plentiful and the tenders were juicy with crispy skin and full of flavor. The mac n cheese was good as well. I was expecting small/thin pancakes, but the cakes were at least 7” around and nearly 1” thick with good flavor. The biscuits and gravy had nice chunks of sausage in it, with a really good flavor. The biscuits were the star though. Best biscuits I’ve had in YEARS. I would go back just to order a to-go order of biscuits. It’s a cute little mom and pop place with good food and friendly staff.

I have stopped in here twice now while visiting Maggie Valley. Do not walk RUN here for the fried chicken! They have the most tasty, delicious fried chicken I have had the pleasure of dining on in my 57 years on this earth! The staff has always been quick and friendly, food to table is quick and hot. The abundance of a choice of sides will please all. And the atmosphere is covered with Southern Hospitality and an uplifiting decor! You will find an old newspaper post on the wall, I suggest it to be read and you will understand this restraunts roots and its on going commitment to Maggie Valley. Again.....do not walk, RUN to this establishment. My next time down I must try the beef menu.

We just finished eating there, and the best I can say is they are well prepared for COVID and our waitress was very nice and attentive. That's why 2 stars instead of 1. However we went there to get breakfast food seeing as there's a large sign that states "Breakfast Served All Day" it was the sole reason we went. Got seated, ordered drinksl , and then when it came time to order my partner tried to order biscuits and gravy and we were told that there's actually a select menu after 1:30 on for breakfast, which would've been ok, if there was actually genuine breakfast foods on it! It consisted of nothing but ham, bacon, and eggs. No biscuits, no pancakes, no hash browns. It can barely be justifiable as a breakfast selection. I'm sorry but when I see "breakfast served all day," that typically means your breakfast menu is served all day, so we were annoyed and felt kind of duped but decided to stay anyways.

I ordered the club sandwich, my partner ordered the fried flounder sandwich, and we had two drinks. Let me tell you I was floored to see our meal cost $30!!! My partner was annoyed and didn't want to argue them on the price, he's shy, and they didn't have an itemized list but we have to figure it's fees due to COVID that our meal cost almost $10 more than it was worth. They replaced all dishes, silverware, etc. with disposable products, which made sense for the cups but not really for everything else and we obviously paid greatly for it.

So false advertising, and $36 total(tip inc) for two sandwiches, one which had deli cuts I swear they bought at the dollar general up the road, and two drinks in large disposable cups I could've purchased at any gas station for $1.50

Very disappointed and I feel scammed. We will never be back and I suggest you second guess going yourself. Go to Bogart's in Waynesville if you're looking for a good meal and COVID safe option, you'll get better food for...

First time dining here and will be out last!!! Wasn't impressed with the food, our server was nice, the young man that sat us took our drink order and it was about tens minutes before we got our drinks, after I got the attention of a waitress. Our bacon was under cooked, toast was barely toasted, grits was bland, gravy was bland, eggs wasn't cooked to order. The best thing I had was the coffee. The restaurant wasn't the cleanest and needs some TLC, also some of the younger staff was sitting around and they were only one table from us talking loud (in Spanish) and was on their phones. The young man that sat us, never brought our beverages, he went in the kitchen and was talking then went and to washing dishes. We were about to walk out, when a waitress seen me looking around and she asked if we had been served. We said no, just the guy that sat us took our drink order, but never came back. We have been to Maggie Valley several times in the past 3.5 yrs but it was our first time eating breakfast and was really excited about having a really tasty country style breakfast. Boy, were we disappointed, but we didn't complain, wasn't feeling well and just left. But, it's our first and last time eating here. Noticed also the lady sitting the table over from us had under cooked bacon and bread that was barely toasted, she left it on her plate. I also left uncooked bacon on my plate and part of the barely toasted bread. Ate the rest because we were hungry and didn't have time to wait for more food to be cooked, but when we pay hard earned money for food in a restaurant we expect it to be an enjoyable and tasty experience and restaurants should be clean and in...

Me and my family are Maggie Valley and Cherokee regulars when we travel. We decided on this restaurant based off of the reviews we read. We stopped in for a quick bite for lunch this afternoon with our three children (ages 2, 5, and 11). We were in high hopes for a quick meal that was high in quality and taste. What we got was over an hour wait before our food came, and food that tasted rushed and not home cooked. My 2 year old’s burger was burnt and too overdone for her to even want to eat. She instead ate the French fries and pickles. My cube steak was crunchy, tasteless, and the mashed potatoes that came with it tasted like instant boxed potatoes with packet brown gravy mix thrown on top. The Mac and cheese was also cold and bland. My wife ordered a Philly cheesesteak that was “alright” But her fried okra was soggy. Our waitress was wonderful even though she told us three times that our food would be out next as we watched her bring food to several other tables that were seated after us. We watched as the family next to us waited just as long as we did and the poor little boys burger was wrong and had to be sent back. His father and sister waited for over 20 minutes without touching their food until his burger finally came out... As a family of 5 who travels to the mountains several times a month, we look for “hole in the wall” family owned businesses like this one to rave about. Unfortunately I cannot do that for this restaurant. After eating barely anything that tasted as if it was home cooked, we were then handed a bill of close to $50. We will not be returning EVER again. We would’ve had a better meal at half the cost just by eating at the...
