Hey Mickey Dâs in Magna: I wonder, is it standard practice to regularly give customers drinks, shakes, frozen desserts, French fries ect., at 30-40% below capacity? Because at the McDâs in Magna, it sure seems to be. When I finally decided to say something to the management this time, after going through the drive through. And then turning right back around and going inside to show the manager that our drinks were at least 40% under-filled, the manager inside literally sat there text messaging on her phone, while I stood at the counter with drinks in hand for nearly 5 minutes. No joke. I have pictures and video. And when I finally said something loud enough to force her to turn around, she didnât apologize or anything. She simply said âyeahâ? I showed her the drinks. Asked her if that was standard McDonalds practice. To give drinks literally 40% under-filled on large size. She said ânoâ. And that was it. Asked what drinks I had and walked away. Took her 10 minutes to come back. I had no idea what she was even doing. So when she came back with the drinks, I asked her for the manager. She said she was. I asked her for her bosses name. And I told her because she left me standing there for five minutes while she played with her phone and text messaged I was reporting her and the under-filled drinks. Her response âwell, I didnât see youâ. YOU DIDNâT SEE ME, BECAUSE YOU WERE TEXTING AND PLAYING WITH YOUR PHONE! That is the point!!! I again asked for her bossâ name. She ignored me and walked away. And never came back. So I asked another employee. Who said they were not allowed to give out a managers name. Interesting, as this is the first time I have ever heard anyone, anywhere say they canât give a managerâs name to a customer for complaint. Your corporate account took the time to respond to me personally on social media, when I shared a positive post with my followers about your egg McMuffins. Letâs see if they will take the time to respond, now that there is a serious complaintâŚ. Or I am happy to just share my terrible experience with my 30K social media followers. Either way⌠This is far from the first time we have received drinks, shakes and French fry orders way below container capacity. And not the first time I have dealt with this bad service from this manager either. What is your response Mickey Dâs in...
Read moreI must edit my review. I have been to this McDonald's multiple times and always on my bike. I've had a Cannondale, Mongoose 29er and a Scott Aspect 730 stolen this year and Everytime I go in stores and this McDonald's in the past, I bring my bike inside the foyer and out of the way. Well on my last visit as someone was holding the door for me to bring my bike in, I heard a man say "Take the bike outside." I said, "Do you have the money to replace it when it gets stolen?" He told me to come talk to him but put the bike outside. I can't leave it outside. For 1 it's a 2018 27.5 $150 Schwinn Comp in excellent shape. He said he would watch it. I said "Watch it ride off stolen." He didn't have a name tag so I asked him his name which he never told me. I asked to talk to his Superior and he said he was the Superior. I said, "No, your boss." He said, "I'm the boss!" I asked him if he owned McDonald's?? Or was CEO. I Then explained to him the many times I've brought my bike inside without a mention about it by anyone at McDonald's and he kept saying it wasn't safe for kids to walk by. Can you believe this? They have a play area where they can get hurt far more easier than walking past a bike!?!? He wouldn't give his name or give up the idea that the bike was dangerous parked inside and he told me to leave. This Hispanic Manager targeted me for whatever reason! And if it was policy, then why is he the first to tell me out of a multitude that said nothing! He was out to be a bully and push his weight around. I told him off as I rode away.. I found out later his nà me is Jose.
First Review, The manager at night was very attentive. She had a problem that happened at the latte machine. She fixed it herself and was very attentive so she could get my drink to me asap. The wait times are really bad though. Every time I go there I must wait 20-25 minutes just to get my order in and that's inside. I don't know about the drive-thru as far as the wait. Other than that it's a good McDonald's. The kids area could be better my son disapproves of it and he's a pro at...
Read moreI work graveyards. I went there late the other night to get a bite before i went home. It was a little after 2am and i know they have to do a system reset every night so when they told me i had to wait i wasnt surprised. Ive had to wait before, no big deal. Im a pretty patient person. They said the wait would be 20 minutes. Ok. No big deal. It was a pretty quiet night. So I sat in the parking lot and watched as the employees and manager (im assuming she was the manager as she was dressed a bit differently from the others) came outside and chain smoked the entire 25 minutes i was waiting. At the 25 minute mark, the manager was still outside. So i pulled over to her and asked if their system was done reseting and if i could order. She looked at me as if i was completely crazy and told me in a very rude mean tone that no i couldnt order, their system was broken. I then went on to apologize, feeling i had offended her somehow which i know was ridiculous to feel that way, and tell her that i was sorry for being an inconvenience in any way. She then went on to berate me about waiting in the parking lot so long for their system to come back up and say the Burger King was open as if i was a complete idiot. My response to her relayed the fact that she was acting extremely unprofessional and if she was so put out by helping customers and answering simple questions at her job, maybe she should quit. Also that i was sorry she was so miserable with her line of work. I drove away and went home. I have NEVER been treated that badly in my life. I was blown away by her hostile and unprofessional attitude. Yes i will be making a phone call....but im not sure how much good it will do. Oh well. Its worth a shot i guess. Nevertheless, everyone beware of the older woman with grey hair and chain smokes that works there. She has a nasty attitude and dont you dare...
