Louisiana Fish House — Restaurant in Magnolia

This place is horrible!!! Not only did they get our order wrong but they overcharged us for what they did not give us. They took it upon herself to change the order to fit their needs. We paid $60 for one dinner and a Seafood fondue. We asked to speak to the manager to explain to him what our situation was with the order being wrong and he said that nothing is for free. Once he finally realized that he still owed us food he finally admitted to it. This was the manager we were speaking to and we could not communicate with him because he was foreign from another country and did not speak English very well at all. It was cold, rainy, we just got home from work and wanted something nice and warm. Unfortunately the stove was cold. :( This was our first time visiting this restaurant. My husband got shrimp gumbo and was pleasantly surprised! The roux wasnt tomato based and had a great taste. Downside was shrimp was frozen and not fresh but unlike other Louisana fish house restaurants, they had jambalaya rice instead of dirty rice and it made a difference! My boyfriend and I arrived about 25 minutes before they closed, yet they were still so friendly. We were placing a to go order. We actually ordered crawfish etouffee, popcorn shrimp, red beans & rice, boudin balls, and the seafood burrito. For dessert, we got the strawberry cheesecake and chocolate cake. Everything was wonderful. The étouffée was started with a homemade roux. You know you can taste the difference in a homemade roux and a packaged one.
