Went here for dinner on an early Thursday evening around 5:00 PM. The restaurant has a large outdoor tent with ample spacing between tables. At this time of evening it was not crowded, although the parking area was filled by the time we left near 6:45 PM. Roxanne's had a full menu and drinks from the bar available. We had the fried calamari for an appetizer. This is usually well prepared, but although the calamari was tender, the coating was not very crisp and it was sitting in a puddle of oil. Part of it could have been the 90 degree weather, but it was disappointing on this visit. Much better were the entrees of Lobster Ravioli and Shrimp Scampi. Both were very tasty and well prepared. Our server wore a mask and was very friendly. Service outside wasn't the fastest but overall was fine. We finished the evening with a cappuccino and cannolis. Both were excellent with good frothed milk on the cappuccino and fresh cannolli cream in a great, crispy shell. Roxanne's is a fun, family friendly restaurant with good food at reasonable prices.

Service was great, food not so much. I use to come here years ago, decided to bring my family for a girls night out! We ordered sodas a few alcoholic beverages and beers, they were solid. Then we ordered calamari and mozzarella sticks, calamari was very squishy and chewy…. We looked past it. Ordered chicken parm, egg plant parm, ziti with vodka sauce, cheese ravioli w vodka sauce and penne vodka w chicken. The vodka sauce tasted burnt, in all three dishes!! -___- We we’re given the wrong order for both the chicken parm and the eggplant parm, serving shrimp parm to the person who ordered chicken parm. And serving chicken parm to the person who ordered eggplant parm lol. We get it, they are all breaded so it gets confusing, but if someone had a severe allergy this could’ve been very very Bad. All and all, ambiance great, staff great, food needs some work. I’m hoping the chefs just had a long, rough day because I know Roxanne’s can do better than this.

We came here for a family dinner to celebrate a birthday. We normally enjoy our experience at Roxanne’s and, as always, food and service was terrific. However, we were adjacent to a table full of rowdy kids whose parents were chatting and drinking at a table down the row. They were paying absolutely no mind to the kids who were running around the table and on the booth seating, playing drums on the pizza boxes, and playing with each other’s hair while people were trying to eat their meals in peace. This behavior affected the dining experience of everyone in the room, including the staff who had to clean up the mess and try to do their jobs around the madness. We couldn’t figure out why they were allowed to stay until one of the parents gave the manager a hug goodbye. Regulars, family, whatever they were - it’s unacceptable to sit idly by and let a single group destroy your tables and mar the experience of your patrons.

Don't believe the hype this place is one of the worst in the Hudson valley. Wasted my money here twice now . The first time I pull up and had a borderline drug addict seeming lady valet my car but we'll get back to that later . I went in I ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and a chicken parm with spaghetti (both simple Italian dishes ) mozzarella sticks had an odd taste I assumed was because perhaps they cooked them in their brick oven. I finished my sticks I'm WAITING 40 mins or so after when the waitress approaches me and offers me dessert , I kindly laughed and said I'd enjoy my éntre first she laughed embarrassingly and disappeared 20 mins after that my chicken parm arrived . It had same foul taste as mozzarella sticks I realized it was the sauce they use here . It's a mix between salsa and marinara sauce 😔. I go to get my car from the valet I tip the woman but she had to break a 20 she ran around the parking lot frantic like a dope feind for about 5 mins before she eventually found change and returned. The second time I went in simple I wanted pizza and a salad the food arrived briskly then the waitress disappeared was about an hour when I finally asked another waitress for a drink refill for myself and my family that waitress apparently delegated that order to someone else who arrived about 25 mins later with our refills .. Now we are there over an hour so far for just something simple as pizza and salad . Waitress still nowhere in sight had to wait an additional half hour to see her and demand my check. In all food is blaaaa borderline strange but the staff is probably the worst I've ever seen I will never return !! DONT...

Went here yesterday with a group of family members to celebrate my aunt's birthday. It was my 1st time here, but my family members have been here many other times before. Was Greeted promptly by a host, we also had a reservation being that we were 25 people. However, an suggestion is to call ahead to make sure one can accomdate the party. Anyways, we arrived at the table which was all set. We waited until our party came to start ordering appetizers, as well as food and drinks. As people came in, i ordered a cherry vodka with sprite. Had about 2 of them the whole time, liked it. Finally the whole party was here! So we ordered 3 fried calamari, fried eggplant/squash, and Salad as family style. The salad and the fried calamari was really good! The salad didn't have too much dressing, and was perfect. The fried Calamari wasn't chewy at all, and even the sauce was good! Next, for dinner we ordered all separate entrees. i ordered the chicken marsala with penne pasta, and it was really good! The Chicken was nice and tender, and the pasta was okay. Side note: This place was fine with us ordering family style apps, and separate entrees, so it's good for those who may not want family style meals completely! We also brought our own cake to the restaurant. Overall had a great time, and hope to be back soon! Also prices are a bit high, but it's due to covid rising prices...

I have enjoyed going to Roxanne's for many years, but I was quite shocked by our bill during our last visit. With the credit card fee, our bill was close to $250 for three adults, a teen, and two kids. With tip, we were almost at $300. I think we paid significantly less at the Lobster house in Cape May for also 6 people, and I actually had lobster in my dish down the shore. We had two pizzas, 2 mozzarella sticks, 1 garlic bread with cheese, two individual salads, an individual baked ziti, and an order of meatballs. We didn't have steak or seafood. We didn't have alcohol or dessert. They use quality ingredients like fresh mozzarella instead of shredded, Kalamata olives instead of canned black, fresh mushrooms. All are worth a premium price but they just seem exorbitant. My child's baked ziti and meatballs, although adult sized, were OVER $40. He didn't even eat the pasta because there wasn't enough sauce or cheese. He did enjoy his meatballs. Soft drink refills are not free like most restaurants. The atmosphere is absolutely lovely and the service is very attentive and excellent. My one complaint about staff is one of the young ladies at the counter was in the restroom with my daughter and I and left without washing her hands. Overall most of the food and experience was very enjoyable, but I just can't justify steak and seafood prices at a...
