Really amazing food and great hospitality.
Mohammed really takes passion and care in the food he serves people and you can tell.
Can’t wait to come back
We had:
Kibbeh: fried bulgar wheat fritters with meet stuffing flavored with sumac and pine nuts and spices.. so tasty, nice sized.
Chicken ball: I never had this before but would get it again. It’s chicken stuffed and covered in some type of crispy shell
Mixed grill: lamb pieces were well marinated, chicken spice was good and the Kifta was amazing. Rice was nicely spiced and flavored.
Grape leaves: these were really special, the stuffing had really good flavor and even pieces of vegetable in the mix which is not the norm.
Eggplant fateh: hot, tasty tomato yogurt sauce. Fateh wasn’t crispy but not hard and it contrasted nice with the eggplant.

Read moreSo visited this place recently and noticed that they had changed up a bit from the last time I visited them about a year ago. A good change , let that be on the record, both in terms of interior and the food. They have tinkered with their menu and for sure the cook behind the scene is someone new. The food was fabulous. We played it safe and used our shawarma litmus test. It did not disappoint , and truth be told I thought it was one of the top 3 I have had ever since coming to Boston hands down. The only place I came across that serves mutabbal ( IYKYK). The mashwe ( BBQ) was juicy and spiced nice all the way. Only complaint was the slow service and that too on what appeared to be a slow day. It’s a halal joint which is always a plus point, but a halal joint with good food is a super plus. If you do end up wandering in also make sure to try the knafeh nablusi and the leyali...

Expected way more for the 25$ price; quality and quantity was below average. The few pieces of lamb (for $18.99!) was dryer than a desert, chewy AF and flavorless.
This place was empty for a reason and will go bankrupt soon, avoid. Service unfriendly as well. This was my worst restaurant experience since quarantine began- an expensive lesson.. looks nothing like their...
