It's a tight squeeze but worth the trip. Everyone young and old, visiting or employed is very happy. The inlet is a great way to view all the boats and yachts moving in and out of the bay area. The beach is very nice, the bay area has a dog beach which is why we go there. As tight as it gets we still seem to always find decent parking, sometimes free but sometimes not, that's ok. It's affordable, it's busy, it's bustling with life. Swimming, sunning, walking, exploring, fishing. Eating good food, drink, ice cream. Unless you're looking for a Seaside Boardwalk it's a great place to visit. It's been our norm for the last two seasons, glad to have discovered it.

I make this a yearly trip, and usually, it never disappoints. Unfortunately, this year wasn't that stellar. Our burgers were a big burnt, and we got the nubs and ends of burnt fries of two mixed baskets of fries. The staff seemed more concerned about were to put and how to pay for the coke delivery and paper order. I think they need an adult in there to manage the kids.

A manasquan staple and the perfect spot for a burger after a surf sesh or a long morning of roasting on the beach. No frills menu try the classic burger with grilled onions if you want to experience the inlet to its fullest. Been coming here for decades and always a treat

Have been coming to Carlson's since I've been been born, so I guess 31 years.

I'm really happy with the latest new management, and have been happy since the last new owners renovated and brought Carlsons back rather than turning it into a house.

I feel terrible that the new management had such a disaster after purchasing the business with Superstorm Sandy, and I truly admire them cleaning up, restoring, and being ready for Summer 2013.

The food continues to not only be simple and delicious, but true to what Carlson's has always been. The Porkroll and Cheese is the best in town, and the Fried Onions on the Original Carlson's Burger are delicious.

The girls at the counter are friendly and extremely helpful, and the boys in the back continue to grind out great food in the hot box on even the hottest days standing in front of the grills and friers.

The best part is waiting for your food, watching the surfers and fishermen walk by, and enjoying the atmosphere of locals and bennies alike just relaxing and enjoying themselves. So happy to have Carlson's around for my son; this is summer, this is Manasquan,...

Fantastic customer service!! All of the young adults working here were friendly , pleasant, helpful and polite!! And EVERY ONE OF THEM WAS WEARING A MASK THE ENTIRE TIME!! Good food and reasonably priced!! Great views!! Delicious ice cream. Wonderful experience!!!

On Friday, August 7th a friend and I came down to Manasquan specifically to eat at Riverside Cafe- big mistake. Never ate there before. Cashier- older woman- didn’t have a mask on until we walked inside- then she wore it under her nose. The cook and other kitchen workers didn’t have a mask on at all. When I asked a question- what time they were open until- she gave a rude answer. The whole situation made me uncomfortable so my friend and I left and walked across the street to Carlsons Corner-thank goodness!!!!! That’s a great restaurant!! Glad I spent my money at Carlsons Corner instead of Riverside...

It kills me to admit it’s just not the same ! Been going to CC all my life and have to say this last trip , is my last trip . Ordered A simple hot dog which they used to make perfectly. It used to come on a toasted bun and it was a quality hotdog. There was a little fixings station, relish, onions and pickles .. NO more . I actually took one bite and threw away my dog . My dad would be sad ! He used to drive all the way from SI to get a Carlsons dog and watch the fisherman and boats . Seems like a silly thing to give a bad review about, but it’s the simplest things that make people happy ! Don’t cut corners AND charge 10 bucks for an ice tea and a ballpark hotdog with no fixings . Sad to say goodbye to this ol time place .. you have the location and reputation so why not...
