Ledo Pizza — Restaurant in Manassas

This is the first time in about 13 years I have eaten at this location. I love ledos pizza as a chain! Best pizza handsdown!! And the food at this location was no exception. If you've never tried the spicy toasted ravioli, omg! You must try them as an appetizer! The only complaint I have about this location, is that the management is poor! We ate here last night and the female manager on duty was on the heavier side, not that that makes any difference, just using it to describe her cause I don't know her name - but including her there were 3 other employees in the restaurant and the place was hopping and there were two young boys who were taking all of the orders, getting drinks and food. It appeared to be only one cook in the kitchen and it took our food a long time to be ready, and when it was ready, it sat in the window for ten minutes until one of the waiters picked it up. Meanwhile, the manager was too busy watching tv at the front counter and helping the cashier roll silverware! Really?? How many people does it take to roll silverware! She should have been in the kitchen helping to make orders to get the food out faster or at the very least helping the waiters by taking orders, grabbing drinks and grabbing the food as it was ready! ...

We enjoy Ledo’s pizza and calzone’s. The server we have had on our last two visits is just great. The food is consistent and usually very good. Unfortunately this was all undone by the manager (Brenda LNU). When leaving we asked about the gift card program posted in the store. Brenda LNU advised that the promotion ended July 31 and is not available. Wait, it is July 16 and the sign said the promotion is good through August 30, 2018. This is really too bad because very year we give 20 - $25 gif cards away as presents for customers, friends and family.

We wish this store well and like having a Ledo’s close to home. But when treated this way it makes it easier to stay with our other local favorites, the City Tavern and Tony’s New York Pizza (which is every bit as good as Ledo’s). Again, we wish this store and every business the very best. We will go again, the Monday night Calzone special is fantastic, but probably less frequently.
