Disappointing food・Slow service Took a break to get sandwiches and am awestruck at how bad it is. Three people working, order taken quickly but prep slooooooow. While I waited for them to make my cheese steak on the grill, I watched them make a couple cold sandwiches on the counter. The way they sliced the bread left it thick and thin - completely unbalanced. They had plenty of meat and about half a head of lettuce on the sandwich but what bothered me most was AFTER they finished the last sandwich that was slathered with oil & vinegar, the cleanup consisted of picking up the lettuce and onions that fell off the side onto the cutting board and not throwing them away but putting them back into the fresh lettuce and onions!!!! Personally I love onions but vinegar makes me vomit. I would hate to get my sandwich (especially at $14+!!!) and when I get home, bite into it and taste vinegar... But we are not done, I ordered my cheese steak with no peppers but extra onion. I watched as the frozen "steak loaf" defrosted on the grill and eventually they chopped it up with the onions and then put cheese on top but less cheese than required, then they loaded the roll that had been sliced open and when I got home to open it, found one half full and the other half about 1/3 empty. I guess that explains the meat I saw on the grill and on the prep board next to the grill - that SHOULD have been in my sandwich!! The coup de gras however was that the meat was so 'wet' that the roll was completely soaked thru so I ended up eating my sandwich with a fork on a plate - the bun was disintegrated!! Now let me be clear - I do not blame the youngsters working there tonight, I blame the owners/managers that have so obviously failed to teach their employees the basics. I am seriously tempted to challenge the charge on my VISA as this was a ripoff in the extreme!!!

Follow up - I complained to corporate and they passed the buck to the local franchise owner. Local owner hasn't even tried to contact me or make amends. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & POOR MANAGEMENT - Not...

I am still in shock of what took place at Jersey Mikes off of 234!!!! Should've recorded the whole thing including the conversation with the GM...Brandon was there...Don't go here unless you want to get sick!!!! I tried 3 times to speak softly n to get the GM's attention. I was literally being ignored. After the GM, yes the GM decided to come, bring me the food I ordered n said hear you go..I told him I don't that contaminated food. His exact words, I heard you n I'm aware of the situation...so why the @%*% didn't you do anything, address it on the spot? You allowed him to touch other people's food, counters, knives, bread, slicer n God knows what else..his exact words to me, because I wanted to wait till I finished your food...are you serious? How the hell did you become a GM..you know nothing about servicing food, food contamination, n a damn thing about customer service..you have an obligation to the people you serve food to be sanitary. All 3 of them had an attitude, if you didn't want to be at work, you should've called out or get a different job...We have been coming here since they opened n NEVERRRRR EVER have we had this type of service, usually veru friendly..I'm calling the health department on them, owner, whomever to ensure this NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!! Not even ohh I'm sorry, I will handle it or will clean everything...your lucky I had my son cause if not, I would'v made sure I got your...

I went in this store the other night what’s my toddler to order food and we order with the gentleman in the front who was taking the orders who was very nice person we ordered ourselves which told it in almost $80 and I told the gentleman in the front that I was gonna add lettuce and tomatoes at the end, he said it was OK that’s fine and then the gentleman on the grill packed up my sandwiches and I told him that I want to add lettuce and tomato and he yelled at me and said no you didn’t say that I said yes I did I said ask the gentleman who just took my order and the gentleman that took my order. Say yes she didn’t want to add it. That was my fault. I forgot to tell you and then he Mumbled stupid people Underhis breath . And then he proceeded to open the sandwiches with his bare hands and then look for a glove put a glove on than threw lettuce and tomato on all 3 of my sandwiches and I got so angry because my toddles was now getting upset and crying because of the commotion I said forget it. I did not want the food anymore and for him to refund me my money he just said SURE , no problem. I did get my money back thank God, but I will not be going back to this Jersey Mike’s ever again...
