A Q Nails — Local services in Manassas

I walked in on time for my scheduled appointment, there was only one technician who was already seeing a client. So I had to wait. That’s fine, I don’t have a problem with that. Kevin arrived five minutes after me and I was directed to follow him for the service. But as I was walking to his table, another client came in and stated she had an appointment with him. He dismissed me and told me to have a seat, someone would be with me. ❌ The first technician stopped servicing her client and came to me. ❌ That’s not fair to that client or to me. Whether she was rushing or clueless, she thought it appropriate to remove DIP POWDER from my nail beds using a clipper and nail tip to CUT AND THEN SCRAPE my nails off. What is wrong with you???? ❌❌❌ She didn’t stop until I flinched and said OUCH but thank god she stopped. She went back to her client. Third technician comes over and silently puts my hands in acetone. ❌ Fourth technician moves me to another seat and performs the service. But he never said a single word to me other than “file?” Which I have to assume is because of a language barrier or rudeness. Maybe both. ❌ Still tipped him sadly but I will NEVER come back here. I will keep driving further away and keep paying my regular tech $70+ plus 30%+...

I will never recommend anyone to go to this place! I've been here for about 3 times now and each experience has been worst and worst. I figured I'll give them the benefit of the doubt but its definitely definitive. I'm not the type to write reviews, but feel people need to know what they're getting into before spending your hard earned money. I had been waiting for like 30+ minutes for service but was ignored, when I was finally seen they'd soaked my feet and just left me that was 30+ minutes, nobody seemed to want to help me, it was like they forgot about me or they was ignoring that I was even present. When I finally spoke up about it they gave such attitude, it was like I was in the fault. The lady cuts one of my toes and made it bleed on purpose, and was handling me very rough. Out of reflex I started to you know what, but I contained myself and remained civilized so I can write this terrible review about this place!! I just have to face it, this place has horrible services, AND NEED TO CLOSE DOWN ASAP!!! Just beware if you decide to go to AQ I know they will, NEVER GET MY HARD EARNED MONEY...

I was in search of a nail shop, where not only the work was quality, but the length of my sets to last longer. I took a chance and walked in on a Sunday evening… and hr before they closed. I wanted my hands and feet done and even though they were closing soon and were crazy busy, they didn’t turn me away. I waited for over an hr to get started on, but I was desperate to have them done, and patiently waited. They took care of me with no feeling of being rushed or inconveniencing them. I felt horrible, keeping them after closing, but Tim (come to find out was 1 of the owners) was super sweet, welcoming, and did not make me feel like I was an inconvenience. His work is great. My nails always look perfectly shaped and painted. They last me over 3 weeks. My tech for my pedicures has been Anna. Because on that first visit, she took her time, and let me tell you… she got every corner, edge of my tiny toe nails. Lol. I greatly appreciated that, and my gel pedicure lasted me over a month. No chip, no dim in shine, just great. HIGHLY recommend this shop! Thank you Tim and Anna. Love...
