Burlington — Local services in Manassas

The Manassas Burlington has great clothes at good prices. The employees however are absolute nightmares. Usually only one or 2 registers at a time long wait. Came in 30 minutes before closing. Had 2 dresses I grabbed quickly because I wanted to see if dressing rooms are open bc they usually close 15 minutes ahead of time. Went to look and some lady ran up on me talking about dressing rooms are closed. I was like ok sorry... Like I'm supposed to know.... Then she started asking me about another couple shopping near the dressing room. She was like we're they in there did you see them come out because now I'ma have to go and check... I was like last I don't know I just came to see if they were open you saw me standing there like you saw them standing them. RUDE. I was walking towards checkout and was like ok if they don't fit how I like no biggie I'll return it bc it's just 2 dresses... And some guy pops out of nowhere in the middle of the store like is that gonna be cash or card? Sir I'm not even in line!!! I just left my items there. and went I get it y'all probably deal with foolish ppl or are understaffed but that's the responsibility of Burlington do better. This is my 3rd experience with staff being rude for no reason. Never again I'll go to the Gainesville location and if the employees are rude I'll just go...

My family and I have been customers of Burlington Coat Factory for over a year now. On Friday, 9/29, my family and I had a terrible experience. At around 8:30 PM, my wife, three year old son, and I were shopping for some new clothing for our son. As we browsed and viewed the clothing in the kids section, a sales associate approached us and immediately confronted us by saying "if you don't want the clothes, don't put them there." We told her we were not finished and she muttered under her breath and then proceeded to "supervise" our shopping. We moved away from the section and my wife went to the ladies section. The employee followed and as the employee circled around my wife repeatedly, she kept calling my wife "stupid Indian girl". My wife responded to the verbal attack in kind. I asked for a manager and he was of no assistance. In fact, the employee continued to yell at my wife, who yelled back, and then the employee went so far as to say "her husband coming down to the store". We left the location without purchase and...

I shopped here on Black Friday 2023 for a new piece of large luggage for an upcoming trip. They had a very good selection of pieces to choose from. There were security locks (theft deterrent) on the zippers so you could not open the luggage to look inside (which I understood).

After getting home and checking the luggage later that weekend, I noticed one of the inside zippers was off its track. I took it back the following Monday and was able to exchange it for another piece and checked it out before leaving the store to ensure all zippers were intact. Great luggage at sensible prices!

Follow-up (01/23/2024): I took my first trip with my newly purchased luggage (a 28" Samsonite hard-sided). It performed excellently! This is my first hard-sided piece (I usually purchase soft-sided luggage). I was amazed how much space it has on the inside. I think I could be converted! Love it and highly...
