Very disappointed with the service today (Sunday May 12). I did call ahead seating, and made sure to specify that we had someone in our party celebrating a birthday. Upon arrival we were brought to a table that barely accommodated our party of 9. Two people in our party were right in the aisle where servers walk by with huge trays of food. We placed our order letting the waitress know we would be splitting the check in two, and again letting her know we had a special birthday boy. We received our drinks and food, the waitress came back once through the whole meal to check if we needed anything, I again mentioned that we had a birthday, expecting them to bring the saddle over and sing their special song. We finished our lunch and the waitress began clearing dishes. My brother-in-law walked over to the waitress to mention again about the birthday, 5 minutes later she walks over with our checks. She doesn’t offer us dessert or coffee, no acknowledgement of our birthday boy. By this point we are frustrated and my son is wondering when they will bring the saddle over. We look at the checks they are wrong, we call the waitress over to fix them (simple error, three meals were priced incorrectly, all that needed to be done was a price corrrection), when she brings the check back over the meals that were incorrect are fixed but now she has moved things from one check to another and they are worse than before. We paid them and walked out with a very upset birthday boy who never got to have his birthday song. With a party of 9 the check was a good amount, you would think that customer service would be a little more important. In the past when we have gone a manger would usually walk around to ask how everything was, not today. Very disappointed in...
Read moreWe checked in on our way there which was helpful. Our quoted wait was the approximate wait time, which was nice to cut off 10-20 minutes of waiting at the restaurant. Our waitress was attentive and I had zero complaints about our service until the end. We got salads which comes out before your meal and so so delicious as a side option. I got the loaded mashed potatoes and was not impressed that all the “chunks” of potato were rotten. I took the time to pick them out, the rest of the potatoes were delicious. We got our salads and entrees within 2 minutes of each other. Just as I was starting on my entree our waitress came back and dropped our check and said no rush. I guess we don’t want dessert then, but would have loved to be asked…..
While I was still actively cutting eating and chewing she came back again and asked if we wanted to go boxes. No thank you. Still actively eating, but trying to get prepared to pay since at this point we were feeling rushed (just under the hour mark, no one visibly waiting for a table.) while I’m eating and we’re getting cash out she comes back again and asked if we needed change. Nope. We didn’t need change, we weren’t alerting we needed change or looking around like we were looking for someone to get us change. I literally grabbed the last two ounces of my steak in my hand and walked out the door because my boyfriend was so uncomfortable with being rushed. My filet was good, although cooked to three different temps. I get that medium well is hard, but I hate when my steak is cut in half to cook it faster. Overall… Texas Roadhouse is worth it for the salad and the rolls/butter. But this wasn’t our...
Read moreMy husband and I frequent Texas Roadhouse in general but this was our first and last time at the Manchester location. We decided to do a to go order since we were near by… the to go process was confusing. They have spots reserved for you and you get text they tell you to text here when you are here and make it seem as though someone will be out to you. This was not the case I waited past the estimated time the food would be done and went up to the to go window and it was sitting there waiting for me. I got a text telling me my order was ready when I was 20 minutes into our drive home. My husband and I ordered two filets medium. (Should be a warm pink). My husbands was more a medium rare and was able to get to temp at home (after we had to wait for our oven to preheat). Mine however was so rare it was more like a purple color. As if someone had only seared a raw piece of meat. It took so long to get to medium my husband was done eating by the time mine was no longer rare. Pretty frustrating that I had to wait nearly 30 minutes after we got home to wait between preheating the over and cooking the steak properly. I can usually cook a better filet myself and was just trying to save myself some cooking since its been weeks since we ate out. What a mistake that was, don’t waste your time here. Either go to a different location or get a nice filet at mr steer and londonderry and cook it yourself trust me you’ll be...
