Having a very hard time leaving this review, especially for a new business. But as an avid foodie and former F&B manager at several casinos, I hope my feedback will help. I ordered the lomo saltado, fish and calamari, and ceviche. Ceviche was on point. Nice job. Fish and calamari were crispy and tasty. Yucca that came with fish needed to be cooked ever so slightly more to give it that desired crunch. These were soft. Lomo..... Needs work. Sorry. Flavor: The flavor was good. It wasn't the best I've had but wasn't the worst.
Amount: Very little beef, you might as well have called this onions, tomatoes and tons of fries with a few pieces of beef. 90% of this was fries that didn't have much flavor to them.
Aji Verde sauce: very runny, not that spicy but decent flavor
Over all: I doubt I'll go back. There's several better Peruvian restaurants in Hartford and 4 I'm going to try that's in New...
