Excellent food and service, the mixed flavors were amazing 🤩 I ordered SECO which is rice, beans and beef with and infusion of cilantro sauce and a side of salsa criolla. I’m a Peruvian living in CT and this dish brought back memories from my country. 5 stars ⭐️, highly recommended!

Food is ok. They should learn how to pack food better for take out. Fish and fried potatoes were chewy when arrived home (about 15min drive from the restaurant). Perhaps add holes to the containers? Food is ok but too salty for our taste. Portions are generous.

Absolutely loved the awesome and fresh Peruvian cuisine! The flavors were spot-on, truly authentic, and a delightful representation of real Peruvian food. Highly recommend it for a flavorful dining experience.

Having a very hard time leaving this review, especially for a new business. But as an avid foodie and former F&B manager at several casinos, I hope my feedback will help. I ordered the lomo saltado, fish and calamari, and ceviche. Ceviche was on point. Nice job. Fish and calamari were crispy and tasty. Yucca that came with fish needed to be cooked ever so slightly more to give it that desired crunch. These were soft. Lomo..... Needs work. Sorry. There was no hint of smokiness, no hint of soy sauce, no cilantro at all and the meat did not at all give the impression of grilled meat. Reminded me of a stew beef. Portion size was not at all comparable to other establishment that serve lomo. As for the fries. I would recommend a fry with a higher starch coating to stay crispy and hold up in to go containers. I love Peruvian food. That being said there some really good Peruvian restaurants around the Greater Hartford area. Out of all them I have visited I love Machu Picchu Restaurant located in Manchester Connecticut.

These are just a few reasons why:

The customer service is simply the best.
The portions are generous
You get more bang for your buck here.

If you haven't been by to visit them yet, I highly recommend this Peruvian Restaurant.

My favorites the menu 😋 are: Machu Picchu Ceveche, Beef Lomo Saltodo, Red Onion Salad, Bisteck A Lo Pobre and their Tamales.

I got the Llomo Saltado

Flavor: The flavor was good. It wasn't the best I've had but wasn't the worst.

Amount: Very little beef, you might as well have called this onions, tomatoes and tons of fries with a few pieces of beef. 90% of this was fries that didn't have much flavor to them.

Aji Verde sauce: very runny, not that spicy but decent flavor

Over all: I doubt I'll go back. There's several better Peruvian restaurants in Hartford and 4 I'm going to try that's in New...
