I'm sorry, but....

For any given pizza, crust can be good, toppings can be good, cheese is cheese .. but the SAUCE. The sauce is what makes one pizza stand out from all the others.

We fell in love with Fresh Brothers when they appeared in the South Bay in the early 2000s. For every birthday party, and many other times as well, we'd buy a few Fresh Brothers pies and they were wonderful.

But lately the sauce has just gone downhill.

I had a thin crust pizza tonight with chicken sausage and mushroom. The crust and toppings were good, the cheese was fine, but the sauce was bland and boring. Utterly uninspiring. The previous time I ordered a pie, there was hardly any sauce on it at all! This time, it was just flavorless.

What happened, Fresh Brothers? Did you cut corners? Choose a cheaper recipe? It makes me sad, because for many years Fresh Brothers was THE PIZZA, hands down. It beat everything in town and all around. My daughter says" they're just not good any more," and I have to reluctantly agree.

Normally I would say that I absolutely LOVE Fresh Brothers Pizza! But this time, and perhaps it was just me, the pizza didn't live up to my expectations. They have changed the app slightly and now they charge more for a little extra sauce. I had never ordered more sauce but this last order lacked sauce. The new era of "everything is in an app" with no access to human beings leads this reviewer left to leaving a review instead of having a conversation with a human being who could possibly make a difference. So, this is how it has to be I guess. The pizza was very dry and since their sauce is normally "to die for" and in this instance the sauce was insufficient (which since it was "take out" I didn't realize until I got home, which is 30 miles away...) i was left extremely disappointed and wondering if this is what FRESH BROTHERS pizza is now all about. I will try again, and i hope my results are better. I will also call prior to picking up my pizza and tell them my last experience. I hope they will make...

If your looking for a tasty reasonably priced pizza. Fresh Brothers is a solid choice.

The pizza is made fresh to order. You have a choice of crusts, toppings and sauce. With plenty of choices for different tastes.

We ordered several custom pies and cheese pies. They are always ready and hot at the time promised.

The crust is always crisp, never soggy from grease or undercooked. They use something like cornmeal on the bottom of the crust. It can be a bit gritty though. Not a great mouth feel, but can be brushed off.

The location is tucked away in a corner of a strip mall. The parking can be challenging. It isn't much to look at for sure.

The staff are ok. Neither friendly or unpleasant. Typically kids working in a delivery/pick-up...
