Second Story Restaurant — Restaurant in Manhattan Beach

This restaurant atmosphere is sleek and cozy for couples, gatherings, and families. My husband and I are finishing up our stay. I am newly pregnant and we also brought our 1 year old son. The breakfast staff was professional, efficient, respectful, menu fluent, attentive, and personable to all. We saw the same 3 gentlemen mostly every morning and they truly are the reason we chose to have breakfast at our hotel instead of going out. I only wish every hotel breakfast was like them. We tipped well and absolutely plan on booking this hotel next year. We hope they have the same exact staff.

O...and we tried the waffles and chicken, steel cut oats, fruit, huevos ranchers, club sandwich, crispy fish tacos, mac and cheese, and breakfast burrito. It all was SO good! Even when we called down to order dinner twice, the timing was fast and the food was always fresh and hot. The OJ was absolutely refreshing in the mornings! Figured I should say something about the food too. You can't go wrong with anything here. My husband truly enjoyed his bar drinks...

I had my baby shower here in February. I can’t rave enough about how AMAZING the staff is. John, Antonio, and Melendez all catered to my party and gave us such a VIP experience! They were so easy to work with and more than accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect turnout. From the planning and logistics of the party, to the execution the day of. Even my guests spoke to me after about how much they appreciated the staff!

Now as far as the food options for brunch…. It was a freaking 10-course buffet! What more can you ask for? All the food was fresh and delicious. Whenever food items ran low, the kitchen and staff were on top of it and kept all food replenished and fresh. My personal favorites were the Huevos Rancheros and the warm beignets for dessert! Soooooo good! We also appreciated the bottomless mimosas, bloody Mary’s, and Irish coffees!

I hope they keep their same staff and menu for a long time because we will definitely be back! Thank you, John, Antonio, and Melendez for a memorable baby shower I will always...

Enjoyed the breakfast. Found this place by googling "fancy breakfast Manhattan Beach". Our breakfast had what felt like breakfast food infinity and beyond. My friend and I ordered omelettes and we helped ourselves to pineapple, watermelon, toasted fresh bread, butter, breakfast meats, and iced coffees. I thought the sixteen dollar price tag was more than fair for what it included. The atmosphere was minimalistic and modern yet welcoming at the same time. We loved our server and he was so accommodating toward us for our almond milk requests. Can't beat the complimentsry valet parking. I enjoyed the vibe at Second Story in...
