Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Manheim Township

One star is for the service, yeah the ice is always great but when you walk up and say “we’d like THAT (pointing at promotional holiday picture)” and the person responds with “I don’t know what’s on the picture” and still after explaining it’s the 4th of July red white and blue picture with sprinkles they say “yeah i don’t know” and then just stand there and stare, you get one star, if you don’t care, i don’t care.

Update: someone who works for this Rita’s stalked another social media page of mine and decided to harass me...

I wanted in line 20 minutes to be told that the only sell pints of day old custard and were currently sold out… they would not fill a pint with new custard as “that is not allowed”, but the would only sell me a cone

The pint is on the menu….

After 20 minutes in line they refused to help me take anything home to my family

If you only sell old custard please state that on the menu and save people a long wait in line….

I believe I am done for the season They obviously don’t care...

This is the first time I ever gave anything other than a 5 star but today was pretty bad. Ordered a mango gelati with vanilla custard. They put about 2 inches of custard on the bottom, around a half inch of mango gelato in the middle, then another 2 inches of vanilla custard on top. I didn't order a cup of vanilla custard with a pinch of mango. Just another case of a business skimping their customers because they're getting low instead of just selling it the way they normally do and...
