I don’t typically write reviews, but I don’t want this place going out of business! Their food is fantastic, super flavorful, spicy if you want 🌶️ and made well, at least with what I tried. We had a spicy combo gyro, fries, and falafel. At first my husband thought the falafel looked like a frozen item, but once he tasted it he vouched. He was vegetarian for 10+ years and vegan for 3years so I usually trust him. And they were great. The fries were the right amount of crispy with a super smooth middle. The tzatziki was super good! I had an amazing experience at Shah’s! From the moment I walked in, everyone was smiling and genuinely happy to have me there—it felt like being welcomed by family. The restaurant is spotless, and if you’re not sure what to order, they’re more than happy to guide you.

I got the Gyro, and wow—it was absolutely delicious! They don’t skimp on portions either; it was packed so full it could barely close. You can tell they take pride in their food and hospitality. I also loved learning that they’re from Afghanistan—it’s incredible to see different cultures bringing their flavors and traditions here.

I love me some chicken over rice I get it all the time when I work out in Philly! When I saw this place opened up I was super excited to be able to get my favorite plater close to home. That being said i got my usual chicken over rice with salad, white sauce and hot sauce it’s nice you can pick out what veggies you want I took it home and it was pretty good. The only thing that let me down was the rice! It was lacking flavor and looked brown where it’s usually be yellow and seasoned if you know you know😉 the chicken was also lacking in flavor but better than the rice.
