My boyfriend and I went in to order. He ordered at the counter and I chose to place a pick up because there is currently a promo code only available to use online. The lady working seemed extremely annoyed she had to assist us. I placed my order before he was done ordering and it was just us inside. Before he was done ordering, another woman walked in. The woman working asked me if she could help the lady who came in before making mine. I have worked in customer service for years and personally never would do that. But it’s just one order so I said “sure, that’s fine” during making this woman’s order, another woman walked in to order. The girl working stopped making my order and then helped the other woman out. We both sat waiting for my 2 subs for over a half hour while she helped other guests who came in after me. After that, I stood up and went back over to the counter because she began to help ANOTHER guest who arrived. It’s not like she forgot about my order, my two subs were sitting on the counter the entire time. Whenever I said “excuse me, are you going to make mine???” She rolled her eyes and claimed she could get in trouble?? For what?? Making a guests order who came in a half hour ago before the 2 other people you helped?? I find that to be extremely poor customer service between her attitude/slamming things around and her helping multiple other people while we are just sitting at a table waiting to eat lunch together. She also had my order marked as “ready for pick up” the entire time- sounds like a way to cheat the metrics to me. I usually am not a Karen, but come on. Do better man. Last time I eat Subway for awhile because I just do not have the patience to deal with shitty customer service and do not appreciate my time...
Read moreI come here relatively often because it’s one of the healthier food options in the immediate area and I work very close by. There’s an individual that’s working just about every single time I visit, darker skin, short black hair, beard. He’s usually very short with me and mumbles when he speaks and often carries a bit of an attitude which, whatever. I can handle that for myself. He always seems tired, and it’s okay to be tired. He always seems overworked, and if that’s the case subway needs to do something about that. I know I have my bad days too, but never in the history of working have I ever huffed, sighed, and rolled my eyes at a customer for ordering food, the way he did to the woman in front of me today. She was there with, what I assume was, her handicap son, and elderly mom and dad, just trying to get something to eat. She had ordered two subs for two of them, and when the sandwich artist was done he screamed their total over the counter to them while she was not even at the resister. When she said she needed two more sandwiches, he cursed under his breath and rolled his eyes and was extremely poor in his choice of attitude. He had never asked her how many subs she was getting in total and the lady even asked politely. The young lady who took my order was very kind and my sandwich tasted fine; however, the way that employee interacted with that women ruined my experience in that store and I’m opting to not return here. Read moreI was extremely frustrated with my experience at this Subway. I went to get subs with my friend but she wasn’t feeling well, so she stayed in the car. I had coupons which is the main reason we went and I went in to order for both of us while she rested. Upon trying to order, they let me know I could not use more than one coupon as a single customer even with two transactions. I explained that the second was for my friend who wasn’t feeling good and was waiting in the car, which even I can admit sounds like a lie. So I asked if they would honor it if she came up to the door and waved to prove she was there and the lady still would not let me use two coupons for the two orders.
I am not an unreasonable person, but it was ridiculous for them not to honor it because if she was feeling well enough she would’ve been in there ordering it on her own. They also said the sub I was originally going to get is only available for online orders, which makes absolute zero sense.
