I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but it was just so awful today that I feel like I should share. I did some work out in the sun today, and went to Wendy's to get a lemonade. The line was short but moving extremely slow. I got there around 3:00 and there was no rush, and they were not busy. Once I got to the speaker, I was asked to wait, and sat there for about 15 mins before my order was taken. I repeated my order twice asking for a large lemonade, and a chicken nugget meal with a grape fanta. The grape fanta was put on as a separate drink (not part of the meal), so I repeated myself again. The person who toom my order did not seem to understand, so I figured I would mention something at the window. No big deal, its still the same food. I get to the window, and there is a man (not the person that took my order). He asks me what my order is, so I told him and I mentioned again that the soda should be a part of the meal. He took a look, then just repeated the total back to me. I know when to pick my battles. I just gave him my card and paid the higher total. I was hot and thirsty and just wanted to go home. Then, I think that man was done with his shift and he left, leaving the girl that took my order. The girl asked me what my order was, then I repeated it again. I was waiting at the window for at least another 20 mins. During this time, the girl was standing there and still hadn't taken the order for the person behind me. Eventually the manager came up, and asked her what was next, realizing she wasn't taking orders. Then the girl looked at me, asked what I ordered yet again, and if I paid, and handed me two drinks and a bag that had been sitting there for a large chunk of the time I was waiting. I get home, and there weren't even fries. I also realized at this point that the guy who took my payment has not given me a receipt, so I just gave up and went home.
So basically, I wanted 30-35 mins for two drinks and 10 nuggets that costed me close to $10. And I would understand if it was busy, and the girl was rushing and struggling to keep up. But she was legit. Just. Standing. There. The person behind me must have been waiting even longer than I had. Had the manager not come up, I'm not sure when I would have ever been handed my food or the person behind me would have had their order taken.
I love this Wendy's. It is close and convenient. I think this girl just needed more training...
Read moreIf I could, I would give 0- stars! This place is an entire joke! Went to grab some food for my kids, boyfriend and myself. When getting to the window to pay the person at the window named "Jay- Manager" had a nasty attitude because I asked him what order was which his response was, "look I don't have time for all that, the person making your food is new and it's not my job to tell you what i'm giving you in the bags." then not only did he say that with a nasty attitude, he then closes the window in my face when I looked at him in disbelief that he actually talked to me like that. My boyfriend gets his attention to ask him why he spoke to me that way and he got smart again and closed the window yet again. So my boyfriend went inside to ask the man why he kept being disrespectful meanwhile he goes inside to find out what the problem was the manager was hanging outside the drive thru with another employee recording my kids and I in the car saying, "look at them, they're mad" while laughing. I asked them to stop recording us and they kept doing it until my boyfriend asked to speak to the manager which so happens to be the "Jay". While there were a few people in the line inside agreeing with the statements that my boyfriend was claiming of him being very rude and completely unprofessional, Jay felt intimidated and yelled "anyone that has a problem with my attitude can leave my store." Since my boyfriend was extremely disappointed he tells Jay he wanted to speak to someone higher than him and he told him to get out if not he will call police. We then left because it was pointless that our issue will get resolved with such poor management. Worst part of it all is that when we get home police was already circling around my complex waiting for our car to arrive since they took my license plate number off of the video. We got out the car to find out that Wendy's called them and stated that there was a black man that threatened an employee at Wendy's. UNBELIEVABLE! Of course that wasn't the issue but now that he was falsely accused of such, we will definitely be moving forward with legal advise.

Read more"I go to Wendy’s every day, so I know exactly what’s going on there. I deal with different employees, and it’s always the same issues. I had a very disappointing experience at Wendy’s recently. I went to buy a Biggie Bag, which normally costs $5, but I was charged $7 for the same product. This is unacceptable, as there was no explanation for the price increase, and it is not justified since the contents of the Biggie Bag were exactly the same as the $5 offer.
Additionally, I noticed a lack of customer attention from the staff. The employees were not paying attention to details and seemed uninterested in providing good service. This issue is further exacerbated by the inadequate training for new employees. I observed that new employees were not well-informed about the prices and other important procedures, leading to errors and confusion.
The management at this establishment also leaves much to be desired. The managers and higher-ups do not seem to be doing a good job in training and supervising their staff. It is frustrating to see that a large chain like Wendy’s does not maintain consistent standards in their pricing and staff training. Employee turnover is high, and new employees do not receive adequate training, which negatively impacts the customer experience.
Moreover, I believe that the employees at Wendy’s are complicit in these issues. It seems like they are playing games with each other and are aware of the problems but choose not to address them. This complicity among the staff is unacceptable and further deteriorates the quality of service.
The lack of communication and proper training is clearly affecting the quality of service at this establishment. It is essential that the managers and higher-ups take steps to improve these aspects. I would not recommend this place to anyone until these issues...
