This is by far the worst Subway I've ever been to. I'm all for hiring "young adults" but these 14 year olds have NO IDEA what they're doing!! They have no "sandwhich artist" technique, no sense of urgency, and no hospitality standards whatsoever. Yesterday evening was my second time visiting this location on Manitou Avenue and it was the same young blonde girl working (no name tag) and she still doesn't know how to do her job. The lady in front of me ordered a double chicken chopped salad and the girl put the lid on it without adding any sort of lettuce, the lady had to speak up and ask for it and the girl just said (without eye contact) "well most people ask for EXACTLY what they want." and to my shock, the woman actually appologized to her! Then after she added the lettuce the salad still didn't even cover half the platter, so the lady asked, "Is that it!?" red it the face, and since the girl obviously couldn't hear her angry tone and didn't notice the upset body launguage she just replied, "yep." that salad looked SAD and the lady who shockingly paid, looked pissed! Ten minutes later. It was our turn. I ordered a roast beef foot long, and a young boy who just walked it made it... And he didn't wash his hands before picking up the gloves he wore...gross. Then seriously, he just kind of tossed the meat onto the bread, I'm used to a nice fold, that the other locations do, makes the sandwhich feel more meaty, but whatever. Then at the register I told the girl I would like 12 cookies and she visibly looked annoyed and that's when I realized that she was going to have to make more cookies now, because I pretty much cleaned them out with that dozen.... Poor girl. Jobs are hard....... By the way, all the cookies, especially the pumkin spice were underbaked and raw...
Read moreVisited this Subway on Thursday, 7/24/25, and had one of the worst experiences ever. The server( Hispanic, with moustache and tattoos) was extremely rude, repeatedly used the F-word while talking to us, and refused to let us sit inside even though it was only 8 PM (store hours say they’re open until 9 PM on weekdays).
When we politely asked him to change his gloves because we are vegetarian and didn’t want cross‑contamination from meat, he got angry and accused us of “showing attitude.” If asking for clean gloves is considered attitude, I don’t know what basic customer service even means here.
We were ordering two subs with different options, but he refused to customize them properly, saying it was “too time‑consuming.” Does that mean if two different customers come in, they’ll both get the same sub? This completely ruined our meal and left us shocked at how poorly we were treated.
Avoid this location if you want even basic respect or...
Read moreIf I could put 0 stars I would!!! This is coming from someone who rarely makes reviews AND has worked in customer service myself for the past 5 years, please go anywhere else! Hell I will pay for your food. We came in for a pickup order, went back out to the car and realized our order was wrong so I sent my boyfriend back in. The employee on line started to happily remake the order. Then the manager Sarah came storming out and told the employee to stop. She wanted the employee to give my boyfriend cold cheese instead of remaking his order like a decent human being. My main problem wasn’t even that, it’s the general tone and the way we were treated. I then called them back to get the store number for cooperate. Same attitude. I can’t find any other word to describe this woman other then a C%nt. Absolutely disgusting and dehumanizing the way...
