Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Mankato

I used to loved jersey Jersey mikes!!! They were always so attentive and cared about the customer. Fast forward to 2024/2025 at the Adams street location and it just seems like the subs aren’t made with the love they used to be. At the price point asked by Jersey mikes one should expect top quality service and a top quality atmosphere. Sometimes with tenured employees it seems like they are willing to skimp on your sandwich when it comes to meat, leave you with a sandwich that isn’t edible without a fork, and the worst of all is some of the tenured male employees try to hit on men’s wives while serving them. I can attest that the quality of food is far more superb when my wife goes into the shop and orders as opposed to when I do and my wife has come home after ordering sandwiches saying she felt uncomfortable after leaving the Adam’s street location in Mankato. For the price point Jersey mikes should offer the best subs in town with every ingredient available to add to your sub but they don’t even offer black olives. If I’m spending 15 dollars on a half of a full sub I expect that every vegetable could want would be on the menu. I came here at about 8:50pm on 10/12, right before closing. I was served by an African American gentleman (don't know his name), he seemed irritated and frustrated that he had to make a sandwich when they were getting ready to close up for the night. Very mono tone, no smiles, and exhaling going on. Excuse me but if the hours say you're open till 9pm, you should be happy to serve a paying customer that helps make your store profitable in order to get a paycheck right? But that's not all.

When l went to fill up my cup full of soda, it shot out like a firemen hose because they took the dispense nozzles off. Now l get it, you're closing so you took them off but when l asked if he could please put it back on for me to get my soda he said, "It's ok, it's the same function." Wow! So you don't want to do one quick thing to help make my soda come out nicer and with less fizz? I then told him, "No it isn't, it's coming out like crazy. Can you please just put it back on?" He then scoffed and reluctantly put it on for me.

Look l love this sandwich company, Jersey Mike's has the best subs hands down in my opinion but if l am going to be a loyal customer, l should be treated with better...

First let me say I love the fresh Roast Beef at Jersey Mike's, I go there quite often and have always had a great experience. Today however was different. I went in the shop and there stood a employee that did not even smile, okay we all have bad days. I asked him if their Roast Beef was rare. He took the roast out of the case very little left, maybe 1 sandwich. I usually get the giant so I asked him if there was anymore that they could use. He opened the case, said no, threw the roast back, and shut the case. I said okay and thank you.

Let's all remember that how you treat your customers now is key to having them when it's business as usual. I am very disappointed, and a bit angry at the rudeness that was displayed.
