Service was fast. The food was hot. The portions were fair. Only negative was the seriously large increase in prices recently. But it was worth it.
Update: We haven't been here for about a year, and we won't be going back to this OG again for a very long time!! We got there and got seated in a timely fashion, bonus. Waiter came over and took drink orders within 10 seconds, wasn't even enough time to open the menu for drink options. Told him to come back please. Waited long enough to come back that by the time he did, not only had we decided on drinks, but decided on food too. So we ordered our drinks, food, and soup or salad choices. Waited several more minutes with no drinks, soup, salad or breadsticks. Finally, waiter brings out our salad and ONE of our soups (we needed two), and told us they were making a new batch of soup so he'd be right back with the other soup. Mind you, still no drinks!! He turns around to leave the table and another waiter shows up at the table WITH OUR FOOD!! We still don't have drinks, our second soup, and our salad/soup was literally just set down in front of us!! What?!! So I said something and the other waiters response was, well I can take the food and put it in the warmer. Um, no f'ing thank you!! I would rather NOT have my $25+ meal set under a heat lamp to dry up nicely, thank you very much. I said just bring me a box, I can't eat this when its even warm and god forbid you offer to make me fresh food that can come out in a timely fashion so I can have nice, hot, fresh food. Finally, after all the food is sitting getting nice and cold on the table, they bring out the second bowl of soup we've been waiting for, STILL NO DRINKS!!!! After another couple minutes, he FINALLY shows up with our drinks. By that time, I was so f'ing disappointed and mad, I didn't even want my food, my drinks, nothing. I just wanted to get out of there. It was ridiculous!!! And all he could say was oh I'm so sorry about that. Wow, I would sure as hell hope you're sorry. That was absolutely pathetic, especially for a restaurant that wants to act as high class as OG. McDonald's service is...
Read moreI went to this Olive Garden on 02/26/2022 and the overall experience was NOT GOOD. There was about a 30 min wait which was no big deal. The place was extremely overcrowded and it was difficult to even walk to the rest-room, however once we were seated it didn't seem like an issue. Our waitress was super nice and we got our food and drinks promptly. That's when everything took a turn for the worse. As soon as they set the food down in front of us my sister found a hair in her food! She also recieved the wrong order. She ordered the shrimp alfredo and recieved the seafood alfredo instead. She told the waitress three times there was a hair in there. The waitress took the order back and came back out with the SAME PLATE. They just scooped out the scallops and the hair out! My sister even asked "is this the same plate?" to which the waitress replied, "yes, we just took off the hair because it was a surface hair and we took out the scallops". I don't know if this is what other restaurants do, but we were completely appauled and disgusted. We then continued on with our meal and found three more hairs in our food! We didn't even complain again because of how they reacted to finding the first hair. Plus after finding the first hair our waitress was no where to be found. We tried to pay on the tablet machine and it would not work. She then brought us paper reciepts and was unable to split up our bill correctly after we told her and she corrected the reciept multiple times! We spent an extra twently minutes just having her try to fix our reciepts it was such an inconvience and bit frustrating. My sister also got charged for the more expensive meal (the seafood alfredo) that she didn't even order and had a hair in it! She had to complain to the waitress TWICE before the waitress talked to the manager to discount just...
Read moreVery delicious birthday dinner soup and breadsticks with cake for dessert 🍽 The only problem was that we made reservations 3 days ahead for 2 for a birthday. When we got there we were told we need to wait 10-20 minutes because a party of 23 called and said they were coming in that evening. I'm sorry but that isn't our problem and we called 3 days ahead to reserve a spot for two; as well as double checked the day of the reservation 5 hours prior to the reservation given the other guest is in cancer remission, so we wanted reservation confirmed and that we had a low traffic table. That was not communicated or noted anywhere and when asking again for that accommodation explaining why the waitress scoffed and rolled her eyes. I felt blamed, like it was our job to create space for the other party, like asking for a safe place to eat for the birthday guest was too hard, and like we were a problem. I haven't experienced that before. Being in the service industry myself, I found this very rude to not apologize on their behalf, be courteous or kind, take ownership, or say we will gladly get you seated immediately without disclosing details like a party of 23 that called that day had priority over a birthday reservation for 2 with a cancer patient being one of the guests making it 3 days...
