China King Super Buffet — Restaurant in Mansfield

We visit restaurants to have an enjoyable time. When we went to this particular restaurant with our twin babies, we requested two high chairs, but they only brought one. I had to ask again for another chair, but they ignored me initially, so I had to ask once more. Secondly, in a restaurant setting, it is customary for the staff to not bring the check unless the customer requests it. The waitress should continue serving the table, such as clearing finished plates and refilling water glasses. However, the waitress was absent for most of the time and only brought the check while we were still eating. She stood next to our table, giving the impression that we should stop eating and leave. Throughout our meal, she appeared to be preoccupied with her phone. When I inquired if she had any questions for us, she replied negatively and went off to chat and laugh with her colleague. I put my credit card down, expecting her to collect it along with the merchant receipt, but instead her laughing colleague approached our table and impolitely asked how much I intended to tip. This behavior was extremely bothersome. I decided to express my dissatisfaction on the back of the check, only to find that the same person who was laughing with the waitress was now standing there along with other restaurant staff, observing and laughing at our table. As I was in the middle of writing my complaint, he interrupted to ask if I had finished. I expressed my ongoing dissatisfaction. Arrived around 8 p.m. with a friend and his 10 year old daughter to to satisfy a Asian craving. Prime rib, doesnt everyone enjoy it? This slither of meat was cold and dry as well as the salmon. When approached the manager whom kept a smirk on his face as we communicated about the temperature and quality that was available, he explained that high temperature on the beef would dry it and make it even smaller(while making hand gesture of smaller) language wasn't a communication barrier. The salmon was not given an explanation but I assure you the horse radish was warmer than the meats. When asked for replenishing of frog legs, they were rushed and lightly brown on the outside and could taste "natural" 😯 flavor because they were cool in the middle as though they were pulled from grease too soon , all to be covered in a layer of salt. Was told the ownership changed hands about two years ago which explains possibly the quality and service. If you want a nice environment to chit chat and nibble, this is for sure the place. If you are in the mood for a good and hot Chinese buffett this is not the place for you. Average price but sub par food and customer service. It's been less than two years for me patronizing this business and will be even longer until there is a new owner or new manager. No sign of illness when I awaken...

BEWARE DON'T EAT.... HAIR (Human/Pet) FOOD CONTAMINATION!!!! HEALTH CONCERN! BEWARE

Firstly, I have eaten here several times, and before tonight have never had anything negative to say. I chose this place for dinner for me and my family after a long day of ripping and running. I wanted to relax and enjoy my meal and the company of my loved ones. However, in actuality what happened next is very disturbing. I fixed my plate and sat down and began to eat. About a third of the plate in, I stuck my fork in my shrimp to find a wad of hair on the other side of it. I was immediately grossed out. The very apologetic waitress came to my table and went to get management. The manager who was wearing a red and white stripped shirt nudged it off saying that it was from a mussel???? How in the H? So now, you want me to believe mussels which were no where on my plate grow human/pet hair?! Disgusting! Then this d woman proceeds to laugh speaking in her native language. At that point I wanted to snatch her up because at no point is it ever ok or funny for someone to eat hair! Never again will I return! Y'all better watch what you put in your mouth if you plan on going here! I really wish I could give 0 stars because I would. Let's see if it's funny when you get shut down because you don't pass your health...
