I took my phone to get the screen repaired. The initially told me over the phone it would be $300 and when I said that was too much they brought the price down to $220. I dropped my phone off and they told me it would be 2hrs. I came back in 2hrs and a different guy came to the front of the store and told me it would be another hr. Once that hour was up I came back and they told me that the $220 was only if I used cash. I told them it would be on card and so the price was raised to $238. I paid it since the repairs appeared to be completed and I had left work to pick it up. Later that night I noticed that my phone died on 13%. That has never happened before. I waited a day to see if the problem would stop but now my phones wonât charge past 20 and it dies on 10%. I took my phone back and explained the problem and I was told that I needed a new battery. My battery was fine before they fixed the screen and now all of a sudden itâs bad. I check my phone settings and my max battery capacity is 77%. I showed him and he said that it needs to be at 80% or itâll die like that. I know better than that so I went back and forth with him but he insisted that was the case. I then asked him âif a person has a 75% battery capacity then their phone would die at 20%?â To which he responded âyesâ. That math doesnât even add up. I told him it was because the screen they put on my phone was not up to code and itâs draining my battery and he told me that the screen has nothing to do e battery. Which also doesnât make sense because the battery is what makes the screen work. After about 25min of back and forth he offered me a âdiscountâ on a new battery. Which confirmed that they are scammers and this is how they get people to spend more money. & the discounted battery price he offered was $75. The original price they wanted to repair the screen was $300. They dropped it to $238, then wanted to charge me $75 for a battery which would bring my total spent with back to the original $300 plus some. I also noticed that their online reviews are fake and made to boost their star rating on google. & just a side note, my phone has been on the charger the entire time Iâve been typing this and my phone is still on 13% and has not changed. They need to be shut down!! I also...
Read moreWorst experience of my adult life for any repair period. Had to get my phone repaired quickly as I was leaving on a cruise. The tech there were 2 options for my S24Ultra- the "cheap" option (generic screen) or the option to use the factory screen. The difference as it was explained ot me was that the cheap screen is prone to glitches, the factory would come with a lifetime warranty. Paid $303.10. Due to the trip I felt I had little options as it was a Sunday and they were open. Got it back, took it home and charged it and left the next day. I noticed there was a line in the middle of screen and tiny "dot". My camera or flashlight did not work either. I was not able to take a single photo. When I returned to get it resolved I was met with sheer stupidity. Among the many things I was told as to why it would not be re-worked to a proper working state, I was told that the warranty did not cover cracks, only "glitches". A line across my screen is not a crack it's a glitch, if my phone and camera don't work, it's a glitch. In a back and forth, I was told
The person who worked on it was "stupid" and was fired, among other reasons because he didn't charge full price for the service (over $300.00!!!) $300.00 was not a lot of money Was asked "why I broke it"?? Was asked "why did you bring it here"??? Accused me of somehow creating the line across my screen myself. Offered no explanations on why my camera and flashlight didn't work. Was told I would be charged FULL PRICE for another screen I read other posts that makes me feel this is a scam. A warranty that doesn't cover cracks only "glitches" is just plain obsurd. 8.Told me there were NOT two types of screens as I was told by the first tech, just the one. So I was lied to I guess by the "stupid" one that got fired. Same stupid guy who worked on my phone and didn't know what he was doing. SMH
See you in small claims court
Oh and as I see the owner asks for information from the receipt, let me know if you want pictures of it and I can send it to you so you don't bullshit about "not...
Read moreI want to give an honest review of my service here. I took my phone in because the screen had been broken and after about a month it just stopped working. I took it in here and the guy was real friendly. He quoted me a price on my iPhone 14 Pro Max for a OLED screen. It seemed a little expensive but I agreed. I told him to call me when it was ready and he said come back at 3:00pm. It was 1:30pm so I said ok. Got back around 3:30 and it was repaired. It worked well so I was impressed. Fast service and the man was friendly. Got home and charged the phone. Started using the phone and the display kept freezing up. Got a message from Apple stating that the part was not OEM and with it installed my device would not operate properly. I have returned twice before stating my device screen was freezing up. The first time i went in I didn't have a problem with it so I couldn't show him the problem. He reset the phone and sent me on my way. The second time I took it to him the screen was froze up. He reset the screen with the side button and reset the phone and sent me on my way. I'm still dealing with the screen freezing up. I spent over $300 on screen protector, screen and digitizer, phone case and a camera lens protector. Now I have a different issue that is because the part was not an Apple product so now the screen freezes randomly. Not bad service but screen replacement was poor quality and I paid top dollar for it. Kinda sad. Should have checked reviews before going there to get service on my phone. Good luck if you bring your device in to...
