Jimmy's Pub & Restaurant — Restaurant in Mansfield

I was very excited to try this place for the first time as I had heard nothing but rave reviews. Terrible all around and will not be returning back when we arrived it was very busy on the patio however we were very quickly sat inside a relatively empty restaurant. Within 15 mins outside ended up clearing out. We arrived and were quickly greeted but it went all down hill quickly from there. We didn’t get our drinks mind you water, Diet Coke, and iced tea NO alcohol for over 25 mins. The waitress seemed extremely unbothered by everything happening and just disappeared for most of this awful experience forcing us to flag down another waiter. We ordered pretty basic meals burger, chef salad, chowder, and fish tacos. Food took over an hour. No one checked in with us as time passed and we almost walked out. Finally as we threatened to leave an hour and 5 mins after ordering we finally get the food which was sub par at best. They then offered to go boxes which did not resolve or help the situation once so ever. In the end they took off the 2 sodas and chowder for all the issues but considering how terrible the whole experience was they definitely could have done more. So disappointed and will not be returning or recommending this...

Went to lunch to celebrate my son and his fiance graduating from college with my in laws. The service from the waitress was the best thing and saved the pub from getting a less than review. The food took over an hour and 30 mins to be served. Drinks were returned because they were not made well...my daughter in law ordered an expresso martini and then found out after sending back the 2nd drink it was being made with coffee! This was not on the waitress and she was so nice and patient. The food was presented well and every one at my table said they overall enjoyed their meals. Went in on a Saturday around noon and ordered a pub burger w/ fries (bacon and medium rare) with a glass of Guinness draft. I was met by a surly individual who gave off passive aggressive vibes the whole time and also got to watch as he yelled at his cook. When I received the burger it was cooked rare and with no bacon. I thought the experience couldn't get any worse until I saw the bill which was $18 dollars for a burger and fries w/ one drink. After arguing about the price with this man he said I quote "You won't find a cheaper burger anywhere else for that price.", oh I think I can. Avoid this travesty of a pub and go...
