Well, straightforwardly speaking, I like their coupons for $4.7 sandwiches (excluding taxes of course) every Mon and Wednesdays. I guess most people do :D They have other mediterranean food items there as well that I want to taste in future. I love bakhlava in general; want to see how it tastes from their menu, hopefully soon :) The items I tasted there so far were good. Last time I went there, it seemed that the place has been getting a lot busier possibly due to the opening of in-person classes again, so it's better to opt for take out rather than dining in, imo. The people working there are very nice. Specially the owner/manager, he always greets in such a way that you will feel like he knows you for ages :D and it's good! I greatly appreciate the warm welcome I always receive there.
Few other points to note: The sandwich might come in wrap or like sandwiched between two pithas. So, if you prefer one over the other, make sure to add that preference into your order instructions. Don't get surprised seeing the checkout process confirming your payment to some personal PayPal account of the owner/manager. To the best of my knowledge they always serve halal foods and I hope they...
Read moreDon't let the plastic tableware fool you; this is not "fast food". Once you order there is a bit of a wait, and why? Because they are preparing it fresh, and when it arrives it is hot and beautifully garnished. I've been eating falafel since long before most Americans ever heard of it, and let me tell you, it's very good here. Fried dark and crisp, but not oily. The hummus was rich and garlicky, and the babaganoush was rich and spicy. I also had the beef and chicken shawarma, which was tender and delicious. The pita was warm and soft. Okay, you're forcing me to find something to complain about...? Fine: The pita was sliced in half, which, because it was so soft, sealed the opening which made prying the pocket back open a bit of work. Okay? That's the only negative about the whole experience. Prices are reasonable. Nice and clean. Awesome A/C like a walk-in cooler. 5G WiFi. I thought the canned & bottled soft drinks a bit overpriced, but pitchers of ice water are free. I knew it was a good sign when I saw the parade of brown skin picking up orders as I ate: folks raised on this food come here! And I will definitely...
Read moreHidden gem, for vegans, vegetarians and carnivores alike. Menu clearly marked for vegan dishes also. Fava beans and falafel appetizer loved across the table, and I was converted from a falafel doubter to a falafel lover. Chicken, lamb, koufta well enjoyed by my family, and roasted cauliflower (without the very, very hot sauce) beloved by me. Wonderful vegan dish, accompanied with excellent rice and hummus. Very generous portions, everything served with delicious pita bread, and we tried both the herissa and baclava desserts, just as excellent as the rest of the food. I would recommend this to anyone, whether a lover of Mediterranean food or a first timer. The owner/chef Mr Agha was very friendly and...
