Nikki's Dog House — Restaurant in Mansfield

Wow! Let me say, first impressions are real! I walk in already hating the feel of college campus, but this place changed my feelings! The entire staff greets you with a smile which now a days is creepy since Noone smiles now a days! This interaction wasnt creepy, it was heartwarming! They all looked like they were having a great time at work. The food was phenomenal considering it's just hot dogs. They have no meat hot dogs, they have tacos, desserts and more. They are reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was spectacular! Super clean, super chill and has a comfortable temperature. Being disabled makes it hard to go places, this one was perfect from beginning to end! Definitely recommend going and seeing...

I don’t typically leave reviews but this place is amazing. Restaurant is super clean and the layout aesthetically is very exceptional. The front counter was very kind and the workers were very respectful and friendly. The burger I had was absolutely amazing. Nicki’s has a tradition they’ve followed for years and the low reviews they’ve received are not fair to their business. If people don’t like the steamed buns it doesn’t constitute a bad review. I’d recommend this place to all my friends and family and look forward to seeing this business thrive in their new location and hope the UConn community accept them...

This is a great location with so much potential to become a real go-to spot for college students looking for quick and affordable eats. Unfortunately, the higher price point makes it a harder to fit that need.

For example, your classic Coney dog is $5.15, while George's Coney in Worcester offers a comparable option at $2.95. Both using similar ingredients (Kayem, etc)
