I stopped at this Arby's to pick up dinner on 7/15. I was immediately called for my order. While placing the order the system kept freezing and then starting again. So after my order was brought up while trying to pay my debit card was changed, i saw the approval on the screen. However the cashier stated it wasn't, so she had me run the card 3 more times all times denied (because it had already taken payment). The cashier still insisted that the payment did not go through. I pulled out a credit card to make payment. I asked that my sandwiches be remade as it had been over 5 minutes. The cashier rolled her eyes at me. I checked by bank statement for my debit card and see that the charge had been taken out and I also checked my credit card statement and it was also charged on the credit card. I called the store on 7/18 at 9:24 and made contact the manager who stated he had to look at the receipts on Friday and would call me back. I did try over the weekend both on Saturday and Sunday with no answer on the phone. Now the manager will not take my calls.
I called back at 1:00 and the manager then told me he sent it to someone else and they would call. I told him I expected a call within the hour and he said he can't do that. I then asked for the number to call myself and he said he couldn't do that but he would get them to call me with in the hour. He also said it went to the DM. Not sure what DM - district manager I assume.
Double charges do not go over well with me.
EDIT I will give Dan Kosse, District Manager, 2 added stars for remedying the situation however this situation should never have occurred. I did have to email him copies of both card transaction statements and physically go back to the restaurant to get a refund processed. Still not sure I would visit this Arby's...
Read moreFirst time at this location, and I don't understand what took so long... it doesn't help that I was already frustrated from just having waited in another drive-thru line WAY too long, but no one was in this drive-thru, and I was hungry, so I was excited to just get some food quickly.
I pulled up, took a moment to look at the menu, then ordered one sandwich and a small fry ($11). Drove around to the window and paid. Then, was asked to pull around front and park because they had to make fresh chicken for the sandwich, which I appreciate! However, just about the time I wondered if they forgot about me and I started calling the store to ask, someone came out with my food (which ended up being subpar - not awful, not fantastic).
I guess I just didn't understand what took so long when I was virtually the only one there (I saw one other person go through the drive-thru, and one person walk in and back out with food while I waited). The cost and quality of the food wasn't worth waiting that long. I'll probably...
Read moreHad a wonderful experience! The woman at the front counter who I assume was the manager made my night. I have been having issues with my card and it has been extremely frustrating. Every time I try to run my card on credit it always declines even though there is plenty of money in my account. I have called my bank many times to resolve my issue. They said it was resolved, but tonight when I went to use it it did the same thing again. Heartbroken because I was starving I explained the situation to the lady at the front counter. She told me she has experienced the same thing before and gave me my food on the house. Wow! Awesome customer service! I wish I would have gotten her name, but I just want to say thank you.
