We were recommended to this place over a year ago. We tried it. We loved it. We thought we have found our new local place. We kept coming because it was delicious. Covid happened and the place shut down for months. Upon reopening we were really excited. However, when we ordered our order was wrong and a mess. That was after my husband went to pick it up and he showed up on time to get it, but was told it was not ready. He continued to wait 30 more minutes for our order that should have been done when he got there. We get home and the food tastes completely different. I thought maybe it was a fluke. We ordered again and it's still is completely different on top of the website not working and not being able to find the menu anymore. The orange chicken is small, hard, and dry covered in a thick sauce that barely tastes like orange. The fried rice is a joke. It's not fried at all. It's rice pilaf with some vegetables. The broccoli in the store fry dishes tastes burnt. Let's not even talk about the egg rolls that are actually spring rolls filled with some chewey gritty substance. No cabbage to be seen. So bean sprouts. It was disgusting. I have no idea what happened to this place, but I am deeply saddened to say we will no longer be...
Read moreWe found Panda House Stir Fry shortly after moving to Northwest Tucson during 1994 and have been going there since then. We enjoy going there for the all-you-can eat buffet. One grabs a bowl, walks down a line and puts what they choose in the bowl and hands it to the person cooking that day and it gets delivered to your table. Normal offerings are three thin sliced meat selections (pork, chicken, beef), broccoli, broccoli stem slices, onions, sliced zucchini, bean sprouts, thin rice noodles, thin egg noodles, lo mein noodles, cabbage, and a few other items. Final selection is house sauce, chicken broth, and garlic broth to be added to the bowl. Side bar has steamed white rice, fried rice, lo mein noodles, and soups. They also have a regular menu, including egg rolls to order form but we have always just done the buffet. There are optional additions for the bowl for a small cost, cashews, water chestnut, etc. Although their hours are limited and they are not open Sunday, we like going there whenever the opportunity arises to be in the area. I am retired and when I am out and about running errands, if I am in the area will stop by for lunch. Great service and very...
Read more10/22 at 2:00pm. Your old guy serving today and claiming to be the owner (if you are the owner for real, dont be surprise that your business is slow) is very very very rude. We support local business but not when you are going to treat us the way you treated us. Didnt even offer to seat, although we can seat ourselves. You were standing on the way as if you dont want us to find our table. Kept asking us for a drink, “what do you want to drink” and when we ask back what’s available? You rebuttal “what do you want to drink” give us your options and available drink rude guy so we can tell you what we want to drink instead of scolding us. I called and you claimed to be the owner, havent seen you before. I only see the lady all the time so if you are lying, you should get fired. No customer service nor compassion at all. It’s blatant arrogance. Never coming back. I will tell my friends never to go there again. You put a bad taste in our mouth when we advocated and always recommended...
