My daughter, ex-husband and I went to Peter Piper Pizza for their lunch buffet because it is our daughter's favorite pizza. You may be thinking, yeah, right, every kid loves Peter Piper Pizza. Not for the pizza, however, but for the atmosphere, the games, the prizes, the toys! Right? Wrong!!! Our daughter is 36 years old and Peter Piper Pizza is still her favorite pizza! It has been since she was little and still is! Ok you say but what does mom say? I haven't had Peter Piper Pizza for years, and I mean years! So when it was suggested we have their lunch buffet, I was all in! When we arrived I was surprised how large the establishment was. Geez. It was huge! Not many people were there, which was fine with me. We paid for our food, got our small cups, (why pay for large when you can refill them yourself as many times as you like) and headed for the pizza. I was pleasantly surprised! Unlike some other pizza buffets where you may find four pizzas, there was a spread of at least eight to ten pizzas! And they all looked delicious! There was a good variety, even a couple for those who are vegetarian. There was also salad and appetizers. On past the lunch pizzas were several dessert pizzas - which sure looked enticing, but dessert would have to wait. I had some serious pizza eating to do! I tried several varieties. And sorry to report, I didn't take any pictures that day. Anyway back to the pizza! I had mushroom and black olives, and pepperoni and sausage, and an all meat one. I have to say that overall, the pizza was better than I thought it would be. Although it was not the best pizza I have ever eaten, it was pretty darn good. I couldn't wait any longer. There was this cinnamon dessert pizza that had my name on it. My daughter fell in love with the strawberry pizza dessert, while my ex and I loved the cinnamon dessert pizza. It was scrumptious! There was such a variety of pizza at all times that I never felt like I was cheated out of my money like you might feel at other buffets, and the pizza was surprisingly good. The salad was nothing to write home about, but then again, we are there for the pizza, not the salad. And anything lost on the pizza is certainly made up by the dessert pizzas! So there you have it. My daughter's favorite pizza, Peter Piper Pizza. Mom says, I did enjoy it; especially the cinnamon dessert...
Read moreWent for a birthday party. Went up to order some wings and a salad. Waited for about five minutes at the counter while about 7 employees just looked at me. Finally after answering the ringing phone right next to me first I was asked if I wanted to place an order. Which yes that's usually why people are at the register waiting. Placed my order with the nice but slow cashier. After eating my syprising tasty wings, I joined my child on the game floor. His time from the party had run out so I added 30 minutes more. We paused the game card after about 5 min for cake and presents. When we went back to play it said my time was expired which was not correct. So I went to speak with a manager to get the problem fixed and he was rather rude. I explained my problem and he did not believe me and looked unconcerned about it. I told him he could check the camera, and the play activity. the other adults who saw me pause it could verify I had indeed paused it and walked away for the party. He was very rude and told me it was not his problem and to contact the people on the back of the card. I asked if he could fix it he said I can maybe give you ten minutes. He checked the activity and said i had been using it the whole time, which was a lie. I again told him he could check the camera and see i walked off the game floor. I told him that would be stealing playing time from my child that I paid for he said he did not care and again was not his problem. I demanded he fix the problem occurring in his store on his time. He simple said 15 mins was the best he could do or I could just leave. After my child looked like he wanted to cry I took the 15 mins from the less then helpful rude manager. Also while getting our prizes the teens who were working I am pretty sure we're high as kites scanning what ever barcode and walking away as my kiddo was trying to ask for something after they scanned his card. They ended up having to reset the computer because they had done something wrong not even letting us know. So they just shoved some prizes at us so we said thank you and left. Over all a bad experience with the people here Will not be returning But will be letting the gaming company know how this place is misusing their equipment and driving...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to visit Peter Piper Pizza, and while I wanted to have a positive experience with my family, there were a few aspects that left me feeling a bit disappointed.
On a positive note, the food was great as always. The pizza had a decent flavor, and the variety of toppings offered allows for some customization to suit different tastes.
The service was also commendable. Our cashier was friendly and attentive. It’s always nice to encounter staff who genuinely seem to care about their guests, and this certainly contributed positively to our meal.
Unfortunately, during our visit, I saw and heard the manager (she appeared to be one of the managers) named Samantha, (I made a note to walk by the cash register so I could catch her name) displaying extremely rude and demeaning behavior toward a couple of her employees. It was pretty uncomfortable to watch as she openly criticized and belittled them in front of customers (or she just did a severely poor job at trying to hide it) creating a thick tension in the air. This kind of conduct not only affects the morale of the staff but also detracts from the overall dining experience for patrons. As an active duty of the Air Force and having commanded over hundreds of troops, this kind of treatment towards my team was never tolerated, or required. I can’t write enough about how much I wanted to pull Samantha aside and discuss what a real leader should be like…for she is certainly not even close to being one for these young and extremely impressionable workers.
It’s disheartening to see a place that could be so enjoyable marred by poor management. I hope Peter Piper Pizza addresses this issue, as a positive work environment is crucial for providing good service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for customers. In summary, while the food and service had their merits, the atmosphere was overshadowed by the manager's unprofessional behavior. I hope my next visit — if there is one — will be an...
