Made an appointment for 1:45 on Friday, 5/28 for two people. This was my first time going. When my friend and I arrived we walked up to the front desk and waited. Finally a nail tech told us to go check in and pointed at another desk. We checked in at 1:46pm.
Waited about 10 minutes, when no one came up to us I went back to the nail tech who told us to check in and said we had a 1:45 appointment for mani/pedi. She said ok just wait and we'll seat you when a chair opens up. Fine. Would have been nice to get that information when we checked in.
A couple walked in asking to get pedicures and they were IMMEDIATELY taken to two chairs. I thought maybe they had appointments, later on while getting my manicure done I heard one of them say they randomly decided to come in; so no previous appointment.
We were finally seated at 2:20pm. Neither of the basins were filled with water, mine didn't have the plastic lining. I was asked what services I was getting I told him two mani/pedi's we made an appointment. He finally stars to fill up my basin, and it was lukewarm water. My feet were in there not more than 30 seconds before he started working on them.
At this point I was thoroughly annoyed by the experience and said nothing, but should have. My friends basin was filled 5 minutes later.
The guy working on my feet did the laziest work ever. Just looked annoyed the whole time. He cut one of my toe nails too short so when he was painting it, it stung.
Onto the manicure, the same guy asks the length shape ect. I wanted short nails with a squoval shape (square with rounded edges). My right hand was ok, the left hand every nail was cut at a strange angle, none of them even. I don't expect them to all be identical but at least similar.
As of 8am this morning (the next day) 5 of my nails have already chipped

Read moreI went for the first time because a friend and I made plans to get our nails done together and it's one of the few nail salons around town that stays open until 7. We arrived at 5:30 and werent seen until 6, and then my friend had to leave at 6 for plans at 6:45, so she could only get a quick polish change done. And when the lady started filling the water for my pedicure I asked her if my friend could have hers done first since she had to leave. And then she and her coworker began speaking in their language in a really mean tone and rolling their eyes. Well the lady who did my pedicure did a half assed job, and really didn't scrub at my feet, I noticed she didn't even clean under my nails, and when I asked her to trim my nails she cut off literally half a hair off each nail even though she could've cut more. Then when I was getting gel polish on my finger nails, the salon didn't have the LED lights that automatically turn on when you put your hand in. So because of this, there were so many layers that the nail technician painted on my fingers that weren't cured by the light. And I kept reminding her to turn it on, but since she seemed rude I stopped because I didn't want to annoy her. But ultimately, the polish they used on my toes didn't last for 2 days, and I cut my own toe nails at home after 3 days. And my gel nails look goopy on some parts since she didn't smooth it out, and let's see how long it lasts since it wasn't properly cured.... This salon is over priced for the customer service and the...
Read moreWent in for the first time and was given a gift certificate of 25$ from Christmas 2019. From my understanding a gift certificate does not expire because we pay for the services ahead of time. It’s not a coupon but since it had a expiration date I called two days early to ask if I can use it. The woman I talked to said yes so I went ahead and made an appointment with someone that my sister in law recommended. The day I go I walk-in and they didn’t ask if I had an appointment. They just told me to go with a technician that’s available. I told them that I made an appointment and same thing “go with her”. Just to make sure I told the technician about the gift certificate (mind you the expiration dates was between 12/19-05/20 close to half of those months they were closed for COVID) she comes back and says they will only use 10$ of it. I even asked if they can be lenient since they were closed for COVID and she said no. The next thing was that I was going to pay for what I wanted and when I was asking if they could do my full set with colored acrylic powder all she said was that “Gel lasts longer”, they also didn’t have the color I wanted so she just went with the a color that was close. How she responded made me feel like I had no other options and I had no other choice. For my first time being there my overall experience was disappointing and will let everyone know not to get a “gift certificate” there because it has an expiration. Not planning...
