Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Marble Falls

Stopped at a Dairy Queen after playing golf today. We walk in. They want us to use their hand sanitizer before we order. We said almost simultaneously, nope! So we turn around and walk out.

So then we go to the drive through and order. Last thing I ordered was a large chocolate shake. The girl tried to repeat my order I guess, but I couldn't understand one single solitary word through their speaker.

We get to the window. They hand us our food. Then this girl tries to hand me a 13" tall chocolate double dipped cone. I told her that I ordered a LARGE CHOCOLATE SHAKE!

A couple of minutes and she tries to hand me a medium chocolate shake. Ughhhhh. I tell her that I ordered a large. So here comes her manager. She says we're giving you a medium because it's the same price of the cone. I told her that I ordered a LARGE SHAKE. IF I OWE MORE MONEY, I'LL PAY YOU MORE MONEY. GIVE ME WHAT I ORDERED!

She said, we called the order back to you over the speaker right after you ordered. Why didn't you tell us? So I lose it. I told her that I didn't understand one word over your speaker! You want to know why? BECAUSE YOU PEOPLE ARE WEARING MASKS!!! PULL YOUR MASK DOWN WHEN YOU SPEAK INTO YOUR SPEAKER AND PLEASE GIVE ME MY LARGE CHOCOLATE SHAKE!!! She said, sir you have a bad attitude. I said give me my large chocolate shake!

She did and smugly said, have a nice day.

We will not ever go back! They couldn't care less about customer service. Who would ever try to give you a smaller version of what you ordered when they messed it up? The whole thing was ridiculous!

I know things aren't easy for anyone right now, but these people do not appreciate their customers and don't deserve the...

Absolutely the worst Dairy Queen I have been to. The food is not prepared right most of the time. Ice cream has developed a sour taste over the past few years that other Dairy Queen’s do not have and if mentioned to the staff they do t seem to care. The staff by the way is never polite, but the really big stinger is that the owners are the worst of all. Both Husband and wife work in there from time to time and are both extremely rude. Don’t bother taking your sub par food back if either of them are there. The response you will get will confirm what I just said. I have never experienced such rude behavior from any employee or business owner. The restaurant itself is going downhill. The REMOVED THE PLAYSCAPE a few years back and did nothing with the empty space. The tables are old and not cleaned well. The whole place has a nasty smell. The bathrooms are always nasty and the men’s bathroom has been missing a stall door for years. It’s like they are okay with the building falling down around them. One star is...

A Lot of the employees are real snotty. They say they close at 10:00 pm but they start their closing routine at 5:00 or 6:00. They shut down the restrooms at 8:00 or so. And they start closing off areas to mop and don't don't open that area back up to allow customers to sit where they would like. the customers end up all bunched together at 6 of the tables by the end of the night. That is if they keep the dinning area open until they close. my family and I have been there to eat on several occasions at around 9:00 or so and have been told the dinning area is not open. we could order inside but we had to take it to go. To which we reply thought y'all where open until 10. I understand they want to go home at exactly at 10 when they close but closing everything down like the dinning area and the restrooms really! That doesn't seem like it would be very good for business. Not to mention the very loud Spanish music they having playing, I mean so loud you can't hear the person across...
