I don't not know what is going on with this location. We ordered a large stuffed crust supreme, a hut meal with a pepperoni pizza and fries, and the cinna Stix online. Pickup time was 7:50. We arrived and were told it would be 5 more mins. Which was fine, I get it. However 15 mins later I went to ask the status. The poor counter girl tried to find out, however finally came up and told me they honestly don't know and are trying to figure out the orders. I decided to give it another 15mins before I gave up and just asked for my money back. However right when I was walking up to the counter they called our order. It was missing the hut meal. I asked about that item and the counter girl went to the back and tried asking. She came back up to get the receipt and I showed her my order and the item missing. It became obvious she was being dismissed by the back of house staff, so I finally asked for the manager. Turns out the one dismissing her was the manager. We finally got the hut box 10 mins later. I told my son he could just eat it in the car as by this time it was already around 840. He ended up not even being able to eat his fries as they were cold with some still slightly frozen in the middle. My husband and I got home to find all the veggie toppings had just been thrown on after the pizza had gone thru the oven. This is our second attempt back since they reopened. Our first attempt was the same issues, but we had figured it was due to the fact they were still getting staff trained, organized, and adjusting to a new smaller kitchen. Working in this industry we get hiccups. However, no one other than the girl at the counter cared, not even the manager. Not for any of the customers as we weren't the only ones that had...
Read moreI have been taking my grand daughter to the Tuesday evening Buffet everytime she visits from Cedar Park. She really likes the pasta and especially the cinnamon sticks. We were told on July 4th they did not usually make cinnamon sticks for the evening buffet any longer but they would for us. She was really excited and we appreciated the effort. When they plate came out she was in the game room waiting so we did not see it for a couple of minutes. There were very few people in the dining room so I went to get her. When we got back there were only two small pieces left and in looking around I noticed a older man with a Pizza Hut shirt on who was I guess and employee since he went in and out of the kitchen. He pretty much consumed the entire thing himself and when I mentioned it to the people at the counter they said "yea he really likes the cinnamon sticks." Having been in the business years ago I appreciate some confusion but normally I did not feel it appropriate for an employee to eat the food someone is kind enough to make special...
Read moreThis Pizza Hut is overall good, I've eaten here since I moved to Spicewood 13 years ago. The quality bounces up and down as the people who are good dependable workers don't seem to be there long. I've had service that was outstanding and as quick as lightning, other times the service and speed left much to be desired. as for the look it is definitely a relaxed feel, but the screaming children that other customers bring are a needle in that feel. The managers do not seem to know what to do and tend to yell and snap at the employee's more often than not, which makes it a tad uncomfortable when your at the counter. But the servers and cashiers more often then not tend to be very polite despite a rude customer before me or a screaming manager. The Pizza's tend to be mixed in quality, when slow they turn out fabulous, when it's packed they tend to be cool and/or undercooked. I think with proper training the good food, environment, and happy employee's would make this place shine like it used to. Over all 3/5. I'll be going back...
