Wokworks Margate — Restaurant in Margate City

Fantastic!!! I've tried many of their dishes (almost all of their rice bowls and Dan Dan Tofu noodle bowl) - all excellent. Made my own bowl once - worked out great. They pride themselves on healthy ingredients. Sauces are delicious - degree of spiciness on their online menu (not sure if it passes on to Doordash or UberEats menus). Portions are on the large side. I have a habit of finishing what's in front of me. I usually am full before finishing a rice bowl. Twice, I held back and saved some for the next day. Once was good cold, the other reheated well. Ordering via app and computer has been easy. Their Margate staff is fantastic - they know their products and are very friendly. My orders have always been fast (I avoid peak dinner hours in the summer; likely not as fast but haven't heard complaints from my friends). Remember, although there is indoor and outdoor seating, it's really a pick-up and delivery restaurant.

I'll preface this review by saying that we're addicted to Wokworks - since the start of the season, we've visited at least once a week, sometimes multiple times. It's just that good! A few weeks back, my daughter had an issue with her order from Wokworks, so she reached out to let them know about it. The manager on duty as well as the general manager were very responsive and immediately sent a replacement meal out to her. When we visited the restaurant and let the on-duty manager know my daughter had called about the meal, she was again very apologetic for the inconvenience and went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. Ultimately, the level of customer service my daughter received in response to her concerns clearly demonstrated Wokworks' customer-centric focus. While the location they're currently in has since it's share of businesses come and go, I certainly hope to see them...

Tried Wokworks for the first time after my daughter had it last night and raved that it’s a wonderful new addition to Margate. My husband and I each created our own bowls (honey garlic chicken and tangy orange tofu) both were equally delicious. The peach frozen drink was super refreshing and might become a new addiction after spending time on the beach. Food was tasty, plentiful and reasonably priced. Sat outside for a relaxed easy vibe. The owner, Sam, could not have been sweeter and I wish them much success in their new business. It’s already looking to be very popular, but the well trained staff is very efficient in getting your order done correctly...
