Dunkin' — Restaurant in Margate

The best Dunkin donuts in Broward update new management has decided to discriminate against me and my wife for absolutely no reason at all today and yesterday new manager was rude and unprofessional with both me and my wife of 30 years. For no known reason she came to our table and told us they are not allowing anyone who doesn't order food to sit down I explained to her that we come here every morning by coffee to breakfast sandwiches hash browns sometimes even donuts but everyday we purchase food there for breakfast she walked away as today we came in there and purchased our food sat down to make the coffee she sent a worker over a very large African-American male probably 6'9 450 lb to my table to tell me that I had 30 minutes to finish my food and leave that there was a 30-minute time limit I asked him politely to send the manager over to my table as the reason we go to Dunkin' donuts every morning is to wait for bus number 42 which comes every 40 minutes the manager did not come to my table so I decided to approach her she said she had absolutely nothing to say to me that he meaning the worker hadn't already said to me when I said to her politely that the bus comes every 40 minutes and me and my wife are never here longer than that and I don't understand why we're being approached anyway , she told me just to leave now. Then threatened to call the police on me for what reason I have no idea. Most disappointing. Rude counter staff. When I questioned the high cost of my order, she did not say anything about charging $1 for a cup of ice. Then when I picked up my order, I saw there was a glass of water instead of ice.i checked my receipt and saw the $1 charge. I asked for ice and said, why did you charge me for water? She says we always do that. I said I wanted ice, not water. She argued with me, saying that I "should have known" they charge for a cup whether for water or ice. When I said you've not done that before (I've gone to this location for years), she rudely said they always do that. Also, they changed the layout of the interior, placing the napkin/trash receptacle right next to the lounge seating by the door. I mean, the garbage can is an inch from where you sit down to eat. What's more, every table inside was dirty. No customers were inside the store, so there was no excuse not to have a clean restaurant. I noticed the name tag on the rude employee's shirt read "Manager." If this was the true manager, then 1) she needs to be retrained or find a different line of work, and 2) management has changed at this location and apparently for the worse. This experience was so unpleasant that I may try one more visit, and if the problems persist, I will scratch this location off our list of restaurants to visit....

I have a long history with this Dunkin' Donuts. The plus is it has a drive through. Whether you are actually going to be able to complete your order there is another matter. After countless visits here is my scientific objective observation. There is a woman in the morning who is awesome. She will get your order correct and keeps the line moving. In the morning the line of cars is so long at certain times that it backs out onto Atlantic Blvd and makes it dangerous. Even so everyone gets helped in a timely manner. The crew who run the afternoon are a disaster. They either can't get the order right or move slower than molasses. A classic example is yesterday when I desperately wanted a cup of coffee to take with me to a class. Only two people were ahead of me in the drive through and I waited 20 minutes. Once I got to the window they wanted to charge me and still didn't have my coffee ready. I left empty handed and late for class. Another issues includes always seeing employees outside smoking on the property. It's a real turnoff for me. After yesterday's experience if I need coffee past the morning shift I'll grab it next door at the 7-Eleven. PS. This location also serves Baskin Robbins ice cream if that's...
