Walking into D’Cuban Café feels like stepping into a charming Havana street corner, complete with rich Cuban culture, vibrant colors, and warm hospitality. Nestled inside the Marietta Square Market, this cozy spot instantly caught my attention with its vintage decor, Cuban flag pride, and an inviting open kitchen. The Food: I tried the Wednesday bowl special — Lechón Asado — a generous serving of tender roasted pork over fluffy white rice and black beans, accompanied by sweet plantains. The flavors were bold and well-balanced, highlighting the authenticity of the dish. The pork was marinated perfectly, with a citrusy mojo that brought the whole bowl together. On the side, I enjoyed a Dulce de Leche pastelito, which was delightfully flaky and just sweet enough to round out the meal. Their green dipping sauce deserves a mention — creamy, garlicky, and fresh. It elevated every bite. Drinks & Variety: The café offers a wide range of Latin sodas alongside classics like Mexican Coca-Cola and Perrier. I appreciated the attention to regional drink options, which adds another layer of cultural richness. Ambience & Service: The service was friendly and quick, and I loved how the space was both visually appealing and efficient. Despite the market setting, D’Cuban Café creates a focused, intimate experience for food lovers. Final Thoughts: D’Cuban Café is a hidden gem for anyone craving genuine Cuban comfort food. The flavors are on point, the presentation is thoughtful, and the weekly bowl specials offer excellent value at just $9.95. It’s a spot I’ll definitely be returning to, and one I’d recommend to both locals and tourists alike. Rating: 9/10 – Authentic, flavorful, and full of corazón.

Food: 5 Customer Service: 5 Affordability: 5 Location/ Parking: 5 (tip below) Cleanliness: 5 D' Cuban is located inside Marietta Mkt Square foodie hall, I had to call to make sure. We were looking for good Cuban food in the area. First off, parking is kinda crazy as expected. You will have to pay if you use the business parking lot. Free 2hrs across the way, just read the signs. Be prepared for lots of people in the Market, but service was fast and professional. They have a fairly small simple menu, which I liked. We ordered 3 empanadas (1 beef and 2 chicken) the beef and potato tastes the best, chicken was dry. Our meals consisted of shredded pork and chicken. The meals included rice, black beans, and fried plantains. They have a dew sauces to choose from as well. Them beef empanadas piping hot and packed with flava!! Service was fairly quick on a Saturday night. The price is really reasonable for the portion size. Everything covered my desires for Cuban food! The food was absolutely good. Yasss, this will be my spot when Im traveling thru this area. I highly recommend you try them!

I got the Cuban combo with plantains...it DOES NOT come with the rice and beans. You can only PICK ONE!!🙄 I also ordered a side yucca fries. I was disappointed because the sandwich didn't have much of flavors. I also paid $3 for the yucca fries and only ended up getting 4 fries! That was very disappointing and definitely was not worth my $3! Sorry but Papis got it! The prices and the flavors. You get rice, bean and plantains with combo meals. The service was good but I won't be returning back here.

This place has gone downhill hill. The Cuban sandwich is not made on Cuban bread, it was rather soggy and barely had the flavors or ratios of ingredients of what a Cuban sandwich should be. If you know, you know. The Cuban coffee was bitter and tasted burnt, I don’t think they clean their machine well, to top it off the coffee was watery and lukewarm, just awful. D’Cuban started off doing a pretty decent job back in the early pandemic days and sadly has lost it’s touch over the course of 3 years. I came when the sisters “Always Hungry ATL” recommended this spot on their Instagram and it was great. If they don’t get back to doing things the way they use to, I will not return or recommend them.

To D’Cuban owners!!

Work on your coffee making process, something is not right with it.

Clean your coffee machine several times a day so that the coffee doesn’t taste burnt.

Your ratio of milk and coffee is not correct, very watery and temperature is not good, lukewarm.

Your bread is not authentic Cuban bread or anything close, and whatever bread you use, press it longer so that it’s nice and crispy and not soggy.

You need more ham and pork in the sandwich, it is weak.

Look back at the videos that “Always Hungry ATL” did for you (in 2020) the food is not looking or tasting like that anymore and that’s when it was very good.

Hope...
