Today at 7:50ish my fiancé and I ordered a number two with a sprite light ice and a number 8 with an English muffin and sprite no ice. Super simple right? Warning this is a long one.
Well according to Christian the guy in the photo it was the most difficult task on this planet and my goodness was he rude, argumentative, impatient and incredibly incompetent.
We were only handed two full of ice drinks no food. My spouse very kindly at first just said one was supposed to have no Ice and one was supposed to have light ice.(Super simple fix that should have no attitude or confrontation would of taken less then a minute to Complete) however, Christian immediately and very rudely with an attitude told us no, the machine just does it and that he didn’t want to because he had other orders. ( in the time it took for a very bad very hostel argument with not only this guy but the store manager and assistant Manager, was uncalled for. Not to mention we have asked this ice accommodation every time and it has never been an issue) the drinks were shoved back at us still wrong and they refused to then give us our food because we wanted our drinks the way we specified. The manager was screaming from across the floor and finally came up( from his mouth and language we were appalled he was the store manager) To our shock he threw a temper tantrum screaming on dealing with the drinks refused us our food or the refund and slammed the window in my partners face. He never asked what happened or actually looked at our receipt. He just kept yelling at us denying service for us doing nothing wrong. He continued to let his staff disrespect and yell at customers. Finally at this point we both had it. My finance started getting argumentative back after being berated and harassed by two very clearly unintelligent, stuck in the mud individuals who were never going to amount to anything. clearly from the way they handle the simplest of tasks that again needed no confrontation. Because a logical normal person would of just swapped the drinks and everyone could of gone on with the day.
The last person to come to the window was Javier who is the assistant manager and the only person trying to figure out what was going on calmly. We explained what was going on while Christian tried to counter argue, finally they gave us two new sprites then Christian basically told us to leave and we still were not given our food. Javier panicked and started going through bags and handed us one then said it was wrong so I looked in it. The sandwich was unwrapped and I did accidentally touch it with my bare hands looking in the bag to make sure it was ours. When I told him I touched it we were told they didn’t care it was someone else’s order.What if I had a communicable disease. Now some poor bystander won’t know their food was man handled by not an employee,Putting them at risk for gosh knows what microbes I may or may not have. Now after being fought with, denied service, denied a refund, and being treated so poorly about 10-15 min passed. Again for something that should have been done in one to two minutes. We have reached out to Corperate on this issue for the franchise owner to call us back.
As for the way were treated, it was appalling and disrespectful. I am personally ashamed of the incompetence of Christian and the manager. As a manager myself, if any of my staff treated any person this way, or I heard them screaming at anyone, they would’ve been fired on the spot. Read moreWent this morning about 9:17 am ordered #6 Sausage McGriddles Meal with Coffee. Got to 2nd window and employee was rushing. She handed me my food I asked for ketchup and strawberry jelly but she did not hear me, came back with the coffee and I asked again for the ketchup and jell. She was handing me the coffee when HOT Coffee wasted all over my Left Hand and my car. The top was not put on securely. I grabbed napkins from my bag to wipe hands and interior of my car. She came back with more napkins and apologized. I parked my car and went inside to report the incident to a manager. After explains what happen the woman I asked was a manager then said she’s not the manager for this location she will go find her to do an incident report. I see another woman who appears to be a manager and explain once again what had happened. The second lady gave me the same I’m not the manager for this location just helping out. Another woman came to take pictures of my hands she said she was sending to corporate. I asked for the name of employee and actual manager and corporate’s number but they said they could not give me that info I would have to call the police because to do a report. I called police and they said to speak to managers. My left hand is swollen and I now have to be out of work for a few days. The employee who gave me the coffee was negligent. I overhear her telling her coworkers that I am lying about what happened. I would not be wasting my time over something like this. Why did she apologize if she wasn’t in the wrong? I went to this location for lunch. I typically use the mobile app to gain points. So all I have to do is give them the number generated in the app and they automatically charge my credit card.
The girl at the speaker took my order, I gave her my code, she proceeded to tell me to pull to the first window and I see that my card had been charged. I get to the window and she says I still owe her. I tell her you all have already charged my card. She says “You declined it so I need $10.67” I said no ma’am I didn’t and I proceeded to show her my recent transaction on my Amex.
She calls her manager over, Miguel, and he says the same thing she says and then tells me that I either have to pay AGAIN or I couldn’t get my food. I say to him “If I pay again and it double charges me I should be able to come back and get a refund?” He says “yes but that first charge won’t go through. This happens a lot and people don’t ever come back because it didn’t charge them. If it does you have to bring a paper statement from your bank showing that it went through” I said ok I’ll be monitoring it.
Four days later, BOTH charges posted. I went back up with my receipt and statement and MIGUEL says “No this isn’t a statement show me where it’s been double charged”. I show him Over and Over and he refuses to give me a refund.
