Seriously disgusted with the way this place does business. I ordered online, which was easy enough. About 30-40 minutes later, I missed a call and received a voicemail saying pizza delivery. I immediately call back and get no answer, so I tried two more times. Then I called the location back and tell them what happened. The driver showed up outside the facility but didn't bother to look for our unit and immediately left. The girl that answered the phone said they'd call him and put me on hold. Several minutes later she picked up the phone and said we'll call him and tell him to go back. Fine. After another 25 minutes go by, I call back. They say "Oh yeah, he just got back and he said there was two buildings." So he just left?! Didn't even look around. We're in a garage with the door rolled up and working on a car that's sticking half way out. If he'd looked at all, he would have seen us. At this point, I don't want the more than an hour old pizza, so I cancel the order. Almost immediately after getting off the phone with them, the driver calls back and starts yelling and swearing. I hang up on him and call back to speak with the manager. Chris, supposedly the manager, says "Well I'm just hearing about this. We cancelled your order and I can't really do anything else." Really? This is how you operate? With this level of customer service, I certainly won't ever order from Mountain...
Read moreVery expensive pizza, but the only pizza joint in the area that has full on veggie pizza with tons of great veggies and even artichoke hearts!
Prizes are very expensive, but if you're on their mailing list you get coupons that can save you $10-$20 easily on two or more pizzas. Even with the high price, the pizzas are so hearty you'll be full in half the slices than if you were eating Domino's so get a medium instead of a large, or even a small could last you two days if you add a salad.
Crust is the best crust I've ever had and their specialty pizzas are very flavorful. The salad bar is okay, I've seen much worse but my wife loves it.
The garlic bread isn't very good, and based on the other reviews I'll likely not try anything other than the pizzas.
As to the speed of service, bring something to do if you're eating in. Cooking good pizza takes time, anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes, but I've ALWAYS gotten my order under the 45 minute mark. Even better is to order take-out, so you can stay home and just go pick it up after 45 or so minutes. Delivery isn't as fast as Domino's, but again good pizza takes time.
I would give 5/5 stars if the price was dropped by about $5 as paying over $20 for a medium pizza is way...
Read moreMountain Mike's Pizza is a chain of pizza restaurants with over 230 locations in California, Oregon, and Utah. The company was founded in 1978 and is known for its signature pizzas, oven-roasted wings, and garlic bread. Mountain Mike's Pizza is a popular choice for families and sports fans.
I visited this location with my family and Leo took great care of us. Pizza was good. Not gourmet but definitely good for families and sports fans.
We tried the lunch buffet which was a good value proposition. It includes pizza, salad bar, and a soft drink.
Enjoyed the pepperoni, the everest, and the mckinley slices we tried.
This facility was not kept up. The carpets are overdue for replacement and the worst part was the dozen flies hovering in the walkway between the salad bar and pizza station.
I think Mountain Mikes is good and my my advice is that they install air curtains or air doors to keep the flys from coming in. The other hiccup was the mobile app needs some work. You can't specific half on one half of a pizza....
