Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Marinette

I tried calling in an order 25 minutes before closing and no answer. I then tried calling a second time incase they were busy and still no answer. I finally decided to drive down and got there 10 minutes before closing. No one else was there, and when I pulled on the door it was locked. Two young girls were sitting behind the counter talking and just stared at me. They then shut the lights off at 6:52 while looking at me to signal me to leave. Went back to my car to call my wife and discuss dinner options since we could no longer get her a gluten free and dairy free pizza. While I was on the phone in the parking lot I observed the two girls proceed to sit there chatting behind the counter not working.

Why advertise the store is open until 7:00 if you’re going to quit taking orders at 6:35 for pizzas that you only have to throw ingredients onto?? It only takes 4 minutes to whip together a pizza! It’s not like they were busy or have...

Placed order in store and was promptly helped. Two younger girls were finishing up another order, then started mine. The counter behind them was dirty across the entire way. I had 2 pizzas made. They weren't the most cordial, didn't really seem like they wanted to be there. I get it, you're probably in high school, maybe this is your first job, whatever. Empty racks in store as well.

Took pizzas home, baked them, both tasted fine. I ate half of mine, and all of a sudden there is a hair baked into it coming out from inbetween the crust and the sauce. The hair is a light brown/dirty blonde color. I have very dark brown/black hair, so it's definitely not mine. It is literally baked into the pizza and was there when I cut into it. Just glad I cut into it at the spot where it was at, so I could see it and not accidentally eat it. Photos attached.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I tried calling the Marinette, WI Papa Murphy’s at 6:36 PM—24 minutes before closing—to place an order. No one answered. I tried ordering online, and it wouldn’t go through. I called again, still no answer.

So my husband drove to the store at 6:45 PM, only to find the door locked. There were two girls inside, clearly working, and instead of communicating anything, they turned off the lights and just stared at him while he tried to come in. No explanation. No apology. Just flat-out refused to serve him with over 20 minutes left before closing.

Completely unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. We wasted our time trying to support this business, and the employees made it clear they had no interest in serving customers....
