Payne's Pizza & More — Restaurant in Marion Township

On 6/29, a coworker and I placed an order. When my coworker went to have a chance to eat her sub, a nasty bug scurried out of the sandwich box. Obviously, so disgusted that there was no way we were eating that food, we put it all in a garbage bag and called Paynes immediately. As is has been stated in several other comments, Amber had the very nastiest attitude as she does even when a customer is placing an order and the other woman I spoke with, to my shock was just as nasty and accusitory in attitude! Insisting that there was NO way this bug would have came from there! We have Orkin on a regular basis to ASSURE that we never have any kind of issues and have NEVER, EVER had a bug issue of any nature, especially THIS TYPE of bug issue! Instead of being apologetic and doing whatever they could to fix the issue, they wanted to argue the issue! We WANTED to return the food to then and they refused. We asked to be refunded and with the very few returns I've ever had to make on my card, a refund is instantaneous! Neither myself or my coworker have yet to see our money back! I believe the woman I spoke with above Amber was Maurine? She was equally, if not more nasty in attitude than Amber about the whole situation! In all of my years in Customer Service, I've never dealt with anything that awful and they certainly wouldn't make it with their poor customer service in any position I've held! STILL WAITING FOR THEM TO MAKE IT RIGHT....Calling the BBB, Health Dept, Disputing with banks, etc if this is not made right TODAY! AND MAKING EVERYONE AWARE THAT WE CAN SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO DEAL...

I've ordered from Payne's pizza in Marion twice now, and it was fantastic both times. The pizza was browned just slightly on top which makes the cheese so much better (how many times do you actually get a pizza properly cooked like that) and the pepperoni's are the smaller kind that cup up... Oh yes it was that good. The sauce is really good as well, not sweet but not that bitter cheap stuff either. On to the sub: I've only had their Italian sub and love it! I put mayonnaise on mine and usually have to do it myself but theirs came with it! The bun really makes the sub though. It's thinner, and just a bit crispy on the edges. Definitely not your standard sub bun you get everywhere else. I'm going to keep ordering from Payne's for sure. It's not the cheapest pizza available and I wasn't looking for cheap either, but it's also definitely not the most expensive either, a fair price for what you get. My only suggestion would be for Payne's to revamp their website because it does not do the food justice with the many typos, poor layout, and poor quality pictures, however that does not affect the great food at a...

They stole $30.00 from me I placed an order online and had the address correct somehow when I placed the order the address changed they would not remake my order or give me my money back.. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!! Pray they get your order right because if someon messes up they will not fix it or give you a refund back so your stuck with what you did not order. Then when you ask to make it right they tell you to never order from us again.. wow what a waste of restaurant..... Update 3/12/24 decided to give them another shot ordered online I put my address in correctly because I looked at the address twice before hitting summit. Somehow computer glitch and the order went to a tanning salon. The driver should have asked for the person and no one is there by that name they should have called the number because that’s why we give them our numbers right??? Well I called Paynes and the manager was rude as hell to me told me it was my fault I put the address wrong no I didn’t… so my $30.00 went out the window. Wouldn’t even remake my food and send it to the correct address no...
