Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Marion

First time eating at this new Freddy’s location. I had to wait a while due to the cashiers needing to restock the register with coins.

Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful. My order consisted of the limited time BBQ Brisket Steakburger with fries and a Key Lime Pie Concrete.

The burger was pretty good. The pickle slices were surprisingly large and plenty crunchy. The brisket wasn’t too bad but it was a little on the chewy side and I felt like it got overshadowed by the rest of the burger.

The fries were thinner than what I was used to but they weren’t bad. Though they were a bit on the salty side; I’ll be sure to ask for ketchup next time.

As for the custard, I enjoyed the Key Lime Pie option. It had plenty of lime flavor and the crushed graham crackers added some nice sweet crunch to the mix.

While eating at the Freddy's in Marion, Iowa with my family I was able to hear a manager I think his name was Markeece yelling at one of the employees. From my experience with dealing with the employee she has always been nice and helpful. In my opinion it was uncalled for especially in the unprofessional way he chose to do so. I always love eating at Freddy's. But the new one in Marion Iowa needs to reconsider their managers. I saw a manager (a younger bigger mixed man) yelling at an employee while I was thinking about what to order. He was yelling at her and it obviously scared her. She started picking at her fingers and stuttering.
