Today was the Grand Opening of this location, so I decided to go in and support a new business in our area. I waited outside the breezeway as they were packed like sardines waiting to enter the main dining room. A line formed behind me, but everyone spaced out 6 feet. After I felt comfortable to enter the breezeway, an employee asked me to scoot forward so she could fill the breezeway and get people out of the cold. There were now around 8-10 of us in a 10x10 foot breezeway. The Owner/Manager/Corporate guy then came up to where the line started inside, removed his mask, and began to tell us the Golden Way to order and about how Starbucks changed the game. Nobody was socially distanced in line, and he actually herded people closer together to listen to his spiel.
We are in the biggest Covid outbreak since the pandemic first started, and you're going to remove your mask to talk loudly for a few minutes as if you didn't care about the 70 year old woman's life that was standing in front of me? After about 20 seconds of him shouting with his mask off, I turned and walked out the door.
If you'll blatantly do that during a pandemic in front of your customers, what is happening behind the scenes? I cannot recommend this location, as they don't take Covid seriously, and this came directly from what appeared to be the...
Read moreMe and my mother both got the same sandwich. Both 6inch. Bread was cut unevenly, and the younger girl putting our sandwiches together seemed like she was in a bad mood before we got to her. Got mine, I did not ask for mikes way but I asked for the stuff I got on my sandwich.
When my mom was asking about hers, she asked for a mikes way and the girl gave attitude when putting it together, and making it all sloppy, forgot banana peppers after putting everything else on the bread, then my mom told her she forgot them and she barely put any on the sandwich.
Once we were checking out, the younger girl kept looking at me and my mom. The person checking us out did seem kind, but I think it’s because she knew the younger girl was giving attitude because the lady behind us saw the attitude she was giving. Let me remind you she seemed like she was upset before we got to her. Let’s please not take out anger out on your customers...
Read moreThis was my first visit to Jersey Mike's. I was stoked for a great sandwich after reading so many great reviews. My only experience with subs has been Subway, Blimpie and Cappriotti's. I want to say that the restaurant was clean , my sandwich artist proficient at her art. I wanted to love the sandwich, at least like it. I went with a simple ham.and provolone. I like simple. No fancy spices. I'm not a fan of oregano so opted out on that. No salt as ham is USUALLY salty enough. Got lettuce, tomatoes (they looked good, but why do sandwich places serve you a slice with core in it? ), onion , oil and vinegar. Got home, man, it smelled good, felt hefty for an 8 inch. I'm stoked, I bite. Man, where the flava? Baba bah BLAND. I cant taste the vinegar even. My cat wouldnt even eat the ham! I dont have covid..... sorry Jersey Mike's. We cant be lovers, we cant be...
