A Sunday Evening, September 10, 2017@ 8:00 PM. Traveling and visiting Marquette MI and looking very forward to a relaxing dinner and evening at Red Lobster. As my Husband and I walked to the front of building to enter, but there is no entrance and no signage indicating the location, as the entrance is located in the back of the building, first sign that this was not a normal Red Lobster. Entered to be told there would be a wait by the Hostess, when there was a half empty restaurant. This was our Second clue to leave....when we were lead to a dirty table at first and than rerouted to another table, where we finally got seated. We sat and waited and waited and waited...it had been well over 20 minutes and no one acknowledged we were even there. We were walked passed, ignored, carpet sweeped around us, other patrons were seated after us and were presented with water. We sat with No water or any service in sight and it clearly appeared would never appear. This was our Third and Last warning to get up and leave. Which we did! At this point we did not even want to speak to management, whom we never saw the entire time we were in the restaurant. As we started to walk out, the male manager finally appeared and says cheerfully "Thanks for coming". He did not even have a clue what was going on with the customers, satisfaction or the professionalism of staff and that should be his very first top priority. We replied and informed him, "We are leaving as we were never served, not even a glass of water, never saw our server. We will not be giving this Red Lobster our business". Beware, staff is unprofessional and clearly do not want to be there as it shows in the whole lack of Customer Service. It starts with the Management, clearly lacking in training and professionalism. We were very happy to give another Marquette MI establishment our business this evening, with our high praises on their top exceptional environment, excellent food and beverage service! If you plan on eating at the Marquette MI Red Lobster, you will be waiting a very long time to see any service , water or food. Do not waste your...
Read moreWe were at the Marquette Michigan location on Friday July 19 for lunch. We had been there the week before and ordered the Baradi crab, and it was fantastic, and our waitress was amazing , so we thought we would go again this week. Our waiter was ok, but I ordered the same thing again, and when I received the crab I got 2 little legs, I even questioned him on whether it was Baradi, because when I ordered it last time I got 4 pieces including the claw, and it was much larger and thicker . He did go back to the kitchen and ask, but he came back and said it's Baradi, and that's all you get....I'm sorry, but when you pay 50.00 for lunch you expect a little better than that. Plus my husband had the salmon and it was overcooked, he never complains, but we won't be back. The service and quality of food has been gradually going down, and there are many more places we can go, spend less, and not leave with a sour taste in our mouth ,and feel like we again wasted our money, yet keep going...
Read moreThe service is always great. The food this time was a little disappointing. My wife had gotten the tilapia. 14 dollars for one piece of fish and a baked potato. Even with the flavor it's not worth more than 9 at the most. I had the wood smoked platter with a lobster tail that was very petite (disappointing) 6 pieces of shrimp and a piece of salmon for 35. Decently priced just felt a tad underwhelming in flavor. The side of scallops on the other hand were made perfect with a great price. On cleanliness, we were a little upset at how dirty and unkept this place is. We had a booth by a window and below the window sill looked like wiped on boogers and food from kids. The heating vents on the ceiling are beginning to rust and the dust on the emergency lights was easily noticable. If you decide to go here come with limited expectations. Only reason I tipped is because our waitress was really kind and worked hard for it. If I had to tip for the food I wouldn't of...
