PATHETIC excuse for an employee.
After a long day of work, my girlfriend and I wanted some custard. It was getting late but Culver's was open until 10pm so we headed for the drive-thru.
We pulled in the drive and waited for about 20-25 minutes in line. The truck in front of us ordered but by the time we got up to the window we got an automated response from the machine... "sorry we are currently closed"
Confused, I looked at the clock and saw 9:56... 4 minutes to close after waiting for over 20 in line! I called the store and the manager answered. She stated that the drive-thru was in fact open until 10 and went to check. When she came back to the phone she then stated the drive-thru was now closed and gave no reasoning as to why. I then asked to place an order over the phone, her response "we don't do phone orders on Friday" what a sorry excuse to not do your job...
There's no place for this type of laziness in our community.. do better. If a real manager/owner is reading this and wants to know which employee to get rid of I didn't catch her name. The date & time Aug. 23 2024 @ 9:56 PM... 4 minutes to close.

Read moreWe waited 20 minutes for only a medium mixer and one cup of ice cream. When it was finally done, it was melted and watery. We did not eat it. I was very frustrated because we had waited so long. I asked to speak to a manager and get a refund. The guy in charge was named Fred. He told the employee he would be out shortly to talk to me. 10 minutes later, still no management. I asked another person to get him. He came back and said he was on the grill and said he would be a few minutes. Another 15 minutes passed. By this time, I was beyond unhappy. Another employee went back. I heard the so-called person in charge tell the employee to tell me he was in the bathroom and would be a few minutes. After a 1/2 hour of waiting for a refund, he finally came out. Never apologized. He asked what I needed. I told him I wanted a refund. He handed it to me and just walked away. He was very rude. The employees all looked pretty lost with no guidance. The place was dirty, and the bathroom was trash. This was the absolute worst Culver's I ever experienced. Normally, I visit other Culver's, and they have been wonderful. Read more3/4/25 I gotta up it again, the last half-dozen times it has been excellent. Drive thru, dine in, such a great meal. Maybe before i was hitting it late and got the igh school shift but again, now ive gotten just the best food and service around. Thanks! 12/22/22 I gotta up their score. I've had a few too many poor trips but lately it's been spot-on. The law of averages etc... I eat there quite a bit when I'm in th area and it's time to eat. It is hard to beat Culver's on a good day. Too many kids and not enough adults. 7:18 5/15 I placed my order, got my number waited 30 minutes, had a semi-adult ask me if I was waiting for custard, no, went to the counter and.... no order. Not on the screen. Nothing. Waited for nothing. How does that happen? I've gotten my order to go, get home and find there were no sides. Two pcs of cod, a roll and that's it. Whoever bagged it never even looked. I've had the cod and it's the greatest meal ever and I've also got home to find a half inch of undercooked gloppy breading, lukewarm fish.... yuk. So.... it's a crap shoot. If it's busy and all the staff is kids, check everything about your meal.
