Probably the worst Starbucks experience I've ever had. The cashier taking my order was not welcoming from the get go. When I asked if they had dark roast brewed, she said no but did not offer a pour over. I asked if she could do a pour over. She said "yeah, whaddya want?" As if she was put out that I even asked. She set my coffee down on the counter at some point and never called my name so it sat there. I asked the barista if this was my poor over and no one knew. I honestly dont even know if I got the right coffee. It had no name on it. It tasted weak, which typically pour overs are stronger. My husband ordered separately and ordered us food. The cashier (a different one) was pleasant, but did not get the food order correct. It was not busy when we first arrived then got busy and they just seemed like they couldn't handle it. The rude worker I had, sat down and went to lunch at their busiest moment. Just poorly run with poor customer service. Hopefully, it was a bad or off day...
Read moreI also come to this Starbucks regularly, and always hope things will get better. It is the slowest Starbucks I have been too as well. I have also worked at 3 different Starbucks in the last decade. The people are kind enough, and usually the drinks are made correctly, but they do not communicate with one another and they do not seem to follow the system Starbucks has in place for efficiency. I just left there spending 24 minutes to get two drinks when I was the only person in line in store and there were three cars in the Drive-Thru. Beware, if you go to the Marquette Starbucks, you will likely be waiting much longer than is anticipated.
Update Jan 2020: Wait times have been more reasonable in the last month! Even with a line, I think my longest wait has been 10-15 minutes...
Read moreThey always have a shortage of supplies, and their drive-thru is always packed. For the first time in my life I was able to get through the drive thru without anyone in my way. I placed a mobile order 20 minutes in advance and I drove to the window to be berated by the barista for not stopping at the menu board and telling them I had a mobile order so that they could get ready for me. My mobile order was sitting a foot away from the barista, I think that they were ready for me. Dunkin Donuts opened across the street, go there instead. No point in going to Starbucks anymore. Even when their drive-thru isn't full you'll get talked down to for not wanting to waste time getting your mobile order and that's if they have the ingredients for anything you would want to...
